Amplia the Marine Extraction Reserve of Araí-Peroba, located in the Municipality of Augusto Corrêa, State of Pará.

THE REPUBLIC OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers you the art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, in view of the provisions of art. 18 and art. 22 of Law No. 9,985 of July 18, 2000, in Decree No 4,340 of August 22, 2002, and in accordance with the case in Case No. 02001.000419 /2007-61do Chico Institute of Conservation of Biodiversity-Chico Mendes Institute,

DECRETA:

Art. 1º It is extended to the Araí-Peroba Marine Extractiview Reserve, created through the Decree of May 20, 2005, located in the Municipality of Augusto Corrêa, State of Pará, with the objectives of:

I-ensure the conservation of the biodiversity of mangrove ecosystems, restinges, dunes, várzeas, alaged fields, rivers, estuaries and islands ; and

II-ensuring the sustainable use of natural resources and protecting the livelihoods and culture of the traditional extraction communities in

Art. 2º The Marine Extraction Reserve of Araí-Peroba becomes increased to its original limits the following polygon, with area of approximately 50.555ha and perimeter of approximately 199,991m, drawn from the MIR-68 topographic letters, MIR-69, MIR-85, MIR-86, all at scale 1:250.000, published by the Directorate of the Geographical Service-DSG of the Brazilian Army, and of the satellite image LANDSAT TM5 222/061 of October 26, 2010 in composition 5R4G3B, as per the following description in approxic geographical coordinates-c.g.a in the Datum SIRGAS 2000: the perimeter starts at point 1, of c.g.a. 0 ° 56'6.16 "S and 46 ° 36' 22.56" W, located on the boundary of the Caeté-Taperaçu Marine Extraction Reservation, created by the Decree of May 20, 2005 ; Single Paragraph. The subsoil of the area described in the caput integrates the limits of the magnification of the Araí-Peroba Marine Extractial Reserve.

Art. 4º The damping zone of the Araí-Peroba Marine Extraction Reserve will be defined by specific act of the President of the Chico Mendes Institute of Conservation of Biodiversity-Chico Mendes Institute.

§ 1º The willing in the caput will not be subject of subdelegation.

§ 2º Within the buffer zone will be permitted the mineral activities authorized by the National Department of Mineral Production-DNPM and licensed by the competent environmental organ, respected the provisions of the unit's handling plan involved, when there is.

Art. 5º The Marine Extraction Reserve of Araí-Peroba will be administered by the Chico Mendes Institute, which will adopt the necessary measures to its effective control, protection and implementation.

Art. 6º The Chico Mendes Institute and the Deliberative Council of the unit should observe the standards, criteria, standards and measures for the sustainable use of fishery and aquaculture resources, set out in joint act of the Ministers of State of the Fishing and Aquaculture and Environment, as laid out in § 6º of the art. 27 of Law No. 10,683 of May 28, 2003.

Art. 7º Stay declared of public utility, for the purposes of misappropriation, by the Chico Mendes Institute, the existing rural real estate within the limits described in art. 2º, in the terms of art. 5º, caput, point "k", and art. 6º of Decree-Law No. 3,365 of June 21, 1941.

Art. 8º This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
