Homologous the administrative demarcation of the Indigenous Land São Sebastião, located in the Municipality of Tonantins, State of the Amazonas.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution conferring you the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and in view of the willing in the arts. 19, § 1º, of Law No. 6,001 of December 19, 1973, and 5º of Decree No 1,775 of January 8, 1996,

Art. 1º It is homologated to administrative demarcation, promoted by the Indian-FUNAI National Foundation, of Indigenous land intended for the permanent possession of the indigenous groups Kaixána and Kokáma, hereinafter described: the Indigenous Land named São Sebastião, with surface of sixty-one thousand, fifty eight hectares, fifty and four airs and eight centiars and perimeter one hundred and sixty-one thousand, seven hundred and eighty-two metres and sixty-nine centimeters, situated in the Municipality of Tonantins, State of the Amazon, circumscribe the following limits: GLEBA I: surface: forty-seven thousand, eight hundred and ninety and one hectares, eighteen ares and thirty-eight centials ; Art. 2º It is ensured, pursuant to Decree No. 4,412 of October 7, 2002, the action of the Armed Forces, for the defence of the territory and national sovereignty, and of the Federal Police Department of the Ministry of Justice, to ensure security and public order and protect Indigenous constitutional rights, in the Indigenous Land St. Sebastian.

Art. 3º This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
