I do know that the Federal Senate has approved, and I, Ramez Tebet, President, in the terms of art. 48, item 28, of the Rules of Procedure, promulgated the following

RESOLUTION # 5, DE 2002

Altera o § 3º and repeal § 4º of the art. 2º of Resolution 40, 2001, of the Federal Senate, which has on the global limits for the amount of consolidated public debt and the furnishing public debt of the States, the Federal District and the Municipalities, in fulfillment of the provisions of the art. 52, VI and IX, of the Federal Constitution.

The Federal Senate resolves:

Art. 1º O § 3º of the art. 2º of the 2001 Resolution 40 of the Federal Senate, passes vigorously with the following essay:

" Art. 2º .......................................................................

§ 3º The net current revenue will be ascertained by adding the revenues raised in the month in reference and in the 11 (eleven) previous months excluded the duplicities. " (NR)

Art. 2º Revoga-se § 4º of the art. 2º of Resolution 40, 2001, of the Federal Senate.

Art. 3º The Federal Senate shall publish, in the Official Journal of the Union, Resolution No. 40, of 2001, with amendments arising from the approval of this Resolution, within 15 (fifteen) days after its enactment.

Art. 4º This Resolution comes into force on the date of its publication.
