Recognization as of Government interest Brazilian the foreign participation in the capital of financial institution to be controlled by the Bank of China Limited, the Beijing-based company, People's Republic of China.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution conferring you the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and in view of the provisions of art. 52, single paragraph, of the Act of Transitional Constitutional Provisions,

DECRETA:

Art. 1^o It is in the interest of the Brazilian Government to foreign participation, up to per cent, in the social capital of financial institution to be controlled by the Bank of China Limited, a company based in Beijing, People's Republic of China.

Art. 2^o The Central Bank of Brazil will adopt the necessary arrangements for execution of the provisions of this Decree.

Art. 3^o This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
