DECREE OF March 25, 2002

It transfers the concession of the entities it mentions to explore broadcasting services, and it gives other providences.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the assignments conferring you the art. 84, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and in the terms of art. 94, item 3, point "to", of the Regulation of Broadcasting Services, approved by Decree No. 52,795 of October 31, 1963,

D E C R E T A:

Art. 1º It is transferred the concession given to the entities listed below to explore medium-wave sound broadcasting service:

I-REGIONAL RADIO OF CICERO DANTAS LTDA., originally Radio AM of Cicero Dantas Ltda., in the city of Cicero Dantas, State of Bahia, as Decree No. 94,724 of August 3, 1987, for the Blue Antene Foundation (Process # 53640.000237/01) ;

II-TUCANUS RADIO AND TELEVISION SYSTEM LTDA., originally Radio Karajás Ltda., in the city of João Lisbon, State of the Maranhão, as Decree No. 95,474 of December 11, 1987, for the Maranhense System of Broadcasting Ltda. (Process No. 53720.000588/01) ;

III-RADIO DIFFUSORA GARIBALDI LTDA., in the city of Garibaldi, State of Rio Grande do Sul, renewed by the Decree of May 16, 1997, for the Serra Cultural Foundation (Case n53790.000218/98) ;

IV-RADIO JOURNAL OF SANTA CATARINA LTDA., originally Society Radio Blumenau Ltda., in the city of Blumenau, State of Santa Catarina, renewed by Decree No. 99,133 of March 9, 1990, for the Blumenauense Company of Communication Ltda. (Process No. 53820.000411/95) ;

V-SYSTEM EVANGELIZADOR OF BROADCASTING LTDA., in the city of Jaboticabal, State of São Paulo, renewed by the Decree of August 27, 1998, for the Our Lady of Carmo-FUNSC Foundation (Process No. 53830.002438/97) ;

VI-RADIO FRATERNITY LTDA., originally Radio Centenary of Araras, in the city of Araras, State of São Paulo, renovated by the Decree of May 23, 2000, for Radio City of Trees Ltda. (Process No. 53830.002674/98).

Art. 2º The operation of the broadcasting service, whose concessions are transferred by this Decree, shall be governed by the Brazilian Code of Telecommunications, subsequent laws and their regulations.

Art. 3º This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
