of this one, it follows by the left bank of the Ituxí River in the sense downstream by an approximate distance of 4,081.47 m to Point 01, beginning of this descriptive memorial, totaling an approximate perimeter of seishundred and thirty-seven thousand and twenty-five meters.

Art. 2nd Extractivist Reservation Ituxí aims to protect the means of life and ensure the utilization and conservation of renewable natural resources traditionally used by the communities of Mangutiari, Goiaba, Amazon Pedreiras, High Beach, Forest, Head, Piece, Canal Village, Victoria Village, Capurana, Curequetê, Carajurian, São Luis, Paumapi, Punicici, Ciriquiqui, Vera, New Hope, Pacu and other incident communities in the area of their comprehension.

Art. 3rd The main economic activities of Extractivist Reservation Ituxí are related to the traditional use of the chestnut, cocountry ba, andiroba, syringe and the sustainable fishing of mandin, surubim and pirarucu.

Art. 4th Caberá to the Chico Mendes Institute for Conservation of Biodiversity-Chico Institute Mendes administer the Ituxí Extractivist Reservation, adopting the necessary measures for its deployment and control, in the terms of art. 18 of the Law No 9,985 of July 18, 2000, providing, in the case of Union land, the contract for the free use of the traditional extraction population, for the purpose of its celebration by the Office of the Heritage of the Union of the Ministry of the Planning, Budget and Management, and monitor compliance with the conditions in it stipulated in the form of the law.

Art. 5th Ficam declared of social interest, for the purposes of dispropriation, in the form of the Act in the 4,132, of September 10, 1962, rural real estate of legitimate private domain and their benefits that come to be identified within the limits of the Extrativista Reservation Ituxí.

§ 1st The Chico Mendes Institute is allowed to promote and execute the dispossession that it treats the caput of this article, and may, for the purpose of immission of possession, aller the urgency to which the art refers. 15 of Decree-Law No 3,365 of June 21, 1941.

§ 2nd The Federal Prosecutor-General's Office, the body of the Union Advocate-General, through its unit legal implementation with the Chico Mendes Institute, is authorized to promote the relevant administrative and judicial measures, targeting the declaration of nullity of eventual property securities and respective real estate records considered irregular, incidents in Extractivist Reservation Ituxí.

Art. 6th Stay provided to the National Indian Foundation-FUNAI the continuity of withdrawals from the occupation area of the isolated indigenous groups within the limits of the Extrativista Reservation Ituxí.

Art. 7th Participation of the analysis and elaboration of the Extraction Reservation Manejo Plan Ituxí, the National Defense Council, through its Executive Secretariat, and the Ministry of Defense.

Art. 8th In exercise of the constitutional and legal assignments of the Armed Forces and Police Federal in Extractive Ituxí Reservation, are understood:

I-the freedom of transit and access, by water, air or land, from military and police for the realization of displacement, parking, patrolling and other operations or activities, indispensable to the security and integrity of the national territory ;

II-the installation and maintenance of military and police units, of equipment for surveillance and support for air and maritime navigation, as well as access routes and other necessary infrastructure and logistics measures, compatibilized with the Unit's Manejo Plan, when outside the border strip ; and

III-the deployment of programs and projects of control and occupation of the border.

Art. 9th This Decree goes into effect on the date of its publication.
