LEI No. 11,642, DE January 11, 2008.

Consider the Municipality of Iguape, located in the State of São Paulo, the Berço of Japanese Colonization in Brazil.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC I do know that the National Congress decrees and I sanction the following Law:

Art. 1st The Municipality of Iguape, located in the State of São Paulo, is considered to be the Berço of the Japanese Colonization in Brazil.

Art. 2nd This Act shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
