DECREE NO 8,571, DE November 12, 2015

Disposal on the execution of the Octogésimo Oitavo Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 18 (88PAACE18), firmed between the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Republic Oriental of Uruguay, on October 12, 2011.

THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, in the use of the attribution that confers him on art. 84, caput, inciso IV, of the Constitution, and

Considering that the 1980 Montevideo Treaty, which created the Latin American Integration-Aladi Association, signed by the Federative Republic of Brazil on August 12, 1980 and promulgated by Decree No. 87,054 of March 23, 1982, provides for the modality of Economic Supplementation Agreement ;

Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, on the basis of the 1980 Treaty of Montevideo, firmed on November 29, 1991, in Montevideo, the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 18, promulgated by Decree No 550 of May 27, 1992 ; and

Whereas the Plenipotentiaries of the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, on the basis of the Treaty of Montevideo of 1980, firmed up on October 12, 2011, in Montevideo, the Octogésimo Oitavo Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 18 ;

DECRETA:

Art. 1º The Octogensimo Eighth Additional Protocol to the Economic Supplementation Agreement No. 18, between the Federative Republic of Brazil, the Argentine Republic, the Republic of Paraguay and the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, of October 12, 2011, annexed to this Decree, will be executed and fulfilled in full on its terms.

Art. 2º This Decree shall enter into force on the date of its publication.
