FOR HOW much, the National Congress has sanctioned the following law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,

DECRETA

ArtA-article 1o. †" The Prefect of Cochabamba will organize in the course of thirty dA-as a Department of Drinking Water, with the advice of the General Directorate of Public Works, which will function under the comptroller and responsibility of the Prefecture.

ArtA-ass 2o. †"The plans and budgets for the studies, as for the performance of the work, will be approved by the same prefectural authority, prior to the technical report of the General Directorate of Public Works.

ArtA-article 3o. †"The studies and captation of drinking water provided by this law, refer exclusively to the natural sources existing in the Cordillera or from it.

ArtA-culo 4. †"The departmental funds deposited with the Central Bank for the purpose of the collection of drinking water for the first required expenses between the total amount for the work will be floated.
