ENRIQUE PEA ' ARANDA C. CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE REPASBLICA.

FOR HOW much, the H. National Congress has sanctioned the following law:

THE NATIONAL CONGRESS,

DECRETA:

ArtA-article 1o. †" Crése funds from carA ¡ cter cumulcumulado para las obras de sewerage y pavimentamento de la ciudad de Sucre with the following resources:

a) 70 percent of the cigarette and cigarette tax made in the Department of Chuquisaca on the last revalorization established by the article 1A ° of the Decree of 9 November 1939, in the sale price and equal proportion in the future surcharges that are made as a result of the increase in the sale price.

b) 15 percent of the capital and provinces ' departmental and municipal budgets of the department of Chuquisaca, which should be handed over to the National Treasury.

c) The tax created by law of November 26, 1923 of 2 per thousand on the urban property of Sucre.

d) The tax that is created from the 1A ° of the 1941 of a Bolivian for each unit that occurs in fà ¡ bricas of hats in the Department of Chuquisaca.

g) The performance of the household sewerage connections that are classified in the Next form: 1a. Bs. 100.†" 2a. Bs. 60 .†" and 3a. Bs. 30.

h) 25 percent of the cost of sidewalk pavements to be paid by the homeowner.

i) Five Cents per liter of gasoline sold in the Department of Chuquisaca.

j) The 1 | 2 percent that should be pay the debtors for one time, on the amount of the mortgage and commercial loans that the Central and National Banks make in their Sucre offices.

Article 2A °. †" The taxes on alcohols and spirits of the Department of Chuquisaca are fixed as subsidiary income, those that will be included-two in the funds of Sewerage and pavements as they become free from the service of the Road and Public Works.

ArtA-ass 3A °. †" These resources will be collected by the respective repartitions and deposited in special account at the National Bank of Bolivia, with the rubric of" Sewerage and Pavement " and the order of the Special Board that will be formed by the Prefect of the Department, as President; the Municipal Mayor as Vice; Chief of Health and a delegate from the Center of CA-vica Action Chuquisaqueà ± a to be the Treasurer.

ArtA-ass 4A ° .†" After two years of accumulation of the funds specified in the article 2A ° the Board is authorized to place a global or staggered undertaking until the sum of these funds or the possibilities of service will allow it in any of the banks or institutions of credit of the paA-s, for the purpose of the operation of the indicated works.

ArtA-ass 5A °. a€ " The Board of Pro-Sewerage and Pavement of Sucre is authorized to give in contract to the construction firms of solvency the execution of the works of sewer and paving, previous call for proposals and consequent approval of the Government.

ArtA-ass 6A ° .†" Derangement the Supreme Decrees of 24 October and 30 November 1939 and the Law of 30 September 1932 and Supreme Decree of 24 May 1938 and 30 March 1939 concerning contributions to the Treasury National of the Department and Municipal Treasures.
