LAW OF DECEMBER 28, 2011

CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, has sanctioned the following Act:

THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,

D E C R E T A:

Article 1. In the constitutional framework of the exclusive competencies of the central level of the State, is declared

Cultural Heritage of the Bolivian People and National Monument of the Plurinational State of Bolivia to the? Plaza Murillo?, located in the city of La Paz and formerly known as: Plaza Mayor, Plaza de Armas, Plaza 16 de Julio or Kilometer Cero.

Article 2.

I. Considering the cultural heritage, monumental and historical national of this good, the Ministries

of Foreign Relations, of the Presidency and of Cultures, the safeguard, the security and the protocolar use of the same one.

II. The ministries mentioned in the previous paragraph, are responsible for taking the necessary measures for the

promotion, preservation, restoration and defense of this property, without the need for prior authorization of any nature.

Remit to the Executive Body, for constitutional purposes.

It is given in the Session Room of the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, at the twenty-two days of December

of the year two thousand eleven.
