CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has Sanctioned the following Act:

THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,

D E C R E T A:

ELECTION OF MUNICIPAL AUTHORITIES

IN THE MUNICIPALITIES OF HUATAJATA AND CHUA-COCANI

FROM THE OMASUYOS PROVINCE OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PEACE

ARTICLE 1. (OBJECT). The Supreme Electoral Tribunal is authorized to call elections for Mayors (as)

and Alderas (as) in the municipalities of Huatajata and Chua-Cocani, in accordance with the current legal regulations.

ARTICLE 2. (IMPLEMENTATION AGREEMENT). This Law applies to the municipalities of Huatajata and Chua-

Cocani, both of the Omasuyos Province of the Department of La Paz, created by Law No. 33 and Law No. 34 of August 8, 2010, respectively.

ARTICLE 3. (NUMBER OF COUNCILLORS). The Supreme Electoral Tribunal will define the number of

Councillors in attention to the number of inhabitants of the Municipalities, in accordance with the current legal regulations.

ARTICLE 4. economic resources for the administration and execution of the

Elections of the Municipalities of Huatajata and Chua-Cocani, will be provided in the present administration by the General Treasury of the Nation through the Ministry of Economy and Public Finance, based on the budget prepared by the Supreme Electoral Tribunal.

ARTICLE 5. (TERM OF OFFICE). With an exceptional choice, the term of office

of the elected authorities in the municipalities of Huatajata and Chua-Cocani, will end along with the period of constitutional mandate of the municipal authorities elected on 4 of April 2010.

ARTICLE 6. (CALL AND TIMETABLE). The Supreme Electoral Tribunal, within the framework of its

powers and powers, will call for the election of Municipal Authorities: Mayors or Mayors, Councils and Councilors of the Municipalities of Huatajata and Chua-Cocani; and to the effect prepare the electoral calendar by defining the

date of choice, in 2012 management.

Remit to the Executive Body, for constitutional purposes.

thousand twelve.
