CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA
For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has The following Law:
THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,
D E C R E T A:
Single Article. Article 8 of Law No. 222 of 10 February 2012, Law of Consultation of Peoples is amended
Indigenous Territory Indigenous and Isiboro Secure National Park? TIPNIS, as amended by Law No. 240 of May 10, 2012, with the following text:
? Article 8. (Deadline). The Free and Informed Prior Consultation shall be conducted from its beginning to its conclusion, within a maximum period of up to three hundred one (301) days, as of the enactment of Law No 222 of 10 February 2012.
UNIQUE AND ABROGATORY DISPOSITION
.
I. The modification contained in this Law, will be applied in the process of Prior Consultation to Indigenous Peoples of the Indigenous Territory and Isiboro Secure National Park? TIPNIS.
II. All provisions of equal or lower hierarchy contrary to this Law shall be abrogated and repealed.
Remit to the Executive Body for constitutional purposes.
It is given in the Session Room of the Legislative Assembly. Plurinational, at six days of the month of September of the year two thousand twelve.
