CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA

For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has Sanctioned the following Act:

PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,

D E C R E T A:

UNICO ARTICLE. Articles 232 bis, 232 ter, and 232 quater are incorporated in Chapter II of Title VI of the

Second Book of the Criminal Code, with the following text:

?ARTICLE 232 bis. (AVASALLENTO IN MINING AREA). The one that for any reason will occupy

mining area through violence, threats, deception or any other means, preventing the exercise of mining activities or stripping rights to the State and/or Mining rights that are in legal possession of the same, will be sanctioned with imprisonment of four (4) to eight (8) years.

ARTICLE 232 ter. (ILLEGAL EXPLOITATION OF MINERAL RESOURCES).

activities for the exploitation of mineral resources without authorization or right granted under the current rules, will be sanctioned with deprivation of liberty of four (4) to eight (8) years.

ARTICLE 232 c. (ILLEGAL SALE OR PURCHASE OF MINERAL RESOURCES). The fact that

will sell or buy mineral resources from the mining area or from the illegal exploitation of mineral resources, will incur the penalty of deprivation of liberty of three (3) to Six (6) years?.

Remit to the Executive Body, for constitutional purposes.

years.
