For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has sanctioned The following Law:
THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,
D E C R E T A:
UNIVERSAL OLD AGE INCOME LAW
(DIGNITY INCOME)
ONLY CHAPTER
Article 1. (OBJECT). This Law is intended to modify the amount payable of the Universal Income of
Old Age (Income Dignity).
Article 2. (BENEFICIARIES OF UNIVERSAL OLD AGE INCOME).

Article 3. (AMOUNT OF UNIVERSAL INCOME FOR OLD AGE AND FUNERAL EXPENSES).
amends Article 5 of Law No 3791 of 28 November 2007, Universal Income of Old Age (Income Dignity), under the non-contributory Social Security regime, with the following text:
? Article 5. (AMOUNT OF UNIVERSAL INCOME FOR OLD AGE AND FUNERAL EXPENSES).
The amount of the Universal Income of Old Age (Income Dignity), for the beneficiaries referred to in Article 3 (a) of Law No 3791 of 28 November 2007, will reach an annual total of Bs.3,000.-(THREE thousand 00/100 BOLIVIANS).
The modifications set out in the preceding Articles, by which the amount of the Income
Universal of Old Age (Income Dignity) to be paid monthly is increased to Bs.200.-(TWO-HUNDRED 00/100 BOLIVIANS) for those who receive an income, and Bs.250.-(TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTY 00/100 BOLIVIANS) for those who do not receive income, will enter into force on the first day of May of this year, not corresponding to retroactive payments for this concept.
The payment amount of the Funerals expenses is maintained Bs.1,800.-(ONE THOUSAND EIGHT HUNDRED 00/100
BOLIVIANS) determined in Article 57 of Law No. 065, of December 10, 2010, Pension Law.
Every three (3) years, the amount of the universal income of old age and that of the expenses funerals, may suffer
variations that will be determined by the Executive Body based on the technical-financial assessment of funding sources.
The Executive Body will determine by Supreme Decree, in a maximum term of sixty (60) days to
from the publication of the This Law, the regulations that correspond to comply with the provisions of this Law.?
