CONSTITUTIONAL PRESIDENT OF THE PLURINATIONAL STATE OF BOLIVIA
For the Plurinational Legislative Assembly, it has sanctioned The following Law:
THE PLURINATIONAL LEGISLATIVE ASSEMBLY,
D E C R E T A:
Article 1. (CONTRACT AUTHORISATION FOR OIL SERVICES). In accordance with the
established by Article 362, paragraph II of the Constitution of the State, Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos-YPFB is authorized to sign the PETROLEUM SERVICES CONTRACT FOR EXPLORATION AND EXPLOITATION OF RESERVED AREAS, IN FAVOR OF YPFB, CORRESPONDING TO THE AREA AZERO, located in the departments of Santa Cruz and Chuquisaca, with the companies TOTAL E&P BOLIVIAN (Branch Bolivia) and GP EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION SL (Branch Bolivia).
ARTICLE 2. (ASSIGNMENT CONTRACT AUTHORIZATION). Once the declaratory and approval of the
merchantability of one or more fields within the area of the contract, as noted in the previous Article, is authorized to YPFB and to the holder of the period of exploration, the subscription of the contract The transfer set out in Annex "G" of that contract, in favour of the Company of Mixed Economy-S.A.M., to be settled between YPFB and the companies TOTAL E&P BOLIVIAN (Branch Bolivia) and GP EXPLORATION AND PRODUCTION SL (Branch Bolivia), for the fields declared commercial.
Article 3. (MIXED ECONOMY COMPANY).
I. The Society of Mixed Economy-S.A.M., is a society formed within the framework of the Code of Commerce, which for the
development of its activities must conform to the current legal regulations.
II. The Society of Mixed Economy-S.A.M., will be governed entirely by the Code of Commerce and will be subject to the
provided by Article 5 of Law No 1178 of 20 July 1990, Law on Government Administration and Control, having the the duty to inform the competent public entities about the destination, form and outcome of the management of the resources provided by the State to that S.A.M. and to present its audited financial statements.
