The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
Article 1
er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 77 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. Article 1
erter of the Act of 6 August 1931 establishing incompatibility and prohibitions concerning ministers, former ministers and ministers of state, as well as members and former members of the Legislative Chambers, is replaced by the following provision:
“Article 1
erter. Without prejudice to other constitutional and legal inconsistencies, community senators cannot, at the same time, exercise the function of bourgmestre, chevin or president of a public welfare centre. »
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
