22 DECEMBER 2010. - An Act to fix the military contingent for the year 2011 (1)



ALBERT II, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The House of Representatives adopted and sanctioned the following:
Article 1er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 74, 4°, of the Constitution.
Art. 2. The military contingent for the year 2011 is set at a maximum of 35,473 military personnel.
Not included in this number are the military personnel who are on standby under the Act of 25 May 2000 on the laying-off of certain military personnel from the active military and military personnel who are on voluntary suspension of benefits under the Act of 22 December 2008 on various provisions.
Art. 3. This Act comes into force on 1er January 2011.
Promulgation of this Act; order that it be put on the seal of the State and published in the Belgian Monitor.
