The Chambers have adopted and we endorse the following: Article 1. This Act regulates a matter referred to in article 77 of the Constitution.
S. 2. the supplementary Protocol between the Kingdom of Belgium and the International Bank for reconstruction and development, signed in Brussels on 28 February 2005, will release its full and complete effect.
S. 3. this Act has effect on February 28, 2005.
Promulgate this Act, order that it self under the seal of the State and published by le Moniteur.

Additional Protocol between the Kingdom of Belgium and the International Bank for reconstruction and development. the Kingdom of Belgium, hereinafter referred to as "Belgium" and the Bank for RECONSTRUCTION and development international, hereinafter referred to as «the BIRD» Vu. the agreement between the Kingdom of Belgium and the International Bank for reconstruction and development on the establishment in Belgium of a liaison office of this organization signed on 26 April 1999;
To clarify the regime privileges and immunities necessary for the exercise of the functions of the liaison office of the BIRD, have agreed to the following: Article 1 1.
Without prejudice to the obligations arising for Belgium from the provisions of the treaties concerning the European Union and the implementation of legal and regulatory provisions, the IBRD staff assigned to the liaison office shall have the right, during the period of twelve months following their first assumption of office in Belgium, to import or acquire, in exemption from the import duties and value added tax chattels furniture and a car for their personal use.
2. the Minister of Finance of the Belgian Government set the limits and conditions for the application of this article.
3. the Belgium is not required to grant to its own nationals or permanent residents the advantages referred to the § 1 of this article.
Article 2 each Party shall notify the other party the completion of the procedures required for the entry into force of this Protocol.
