The Chambers have adopted and we endorse the following: Article 1. This Act regulates a matter referred to in article 78 of the Constitution art. 2 in article 6 of the Act of 8 April 1965, establishing statutory deposit with the Royal Library of Belgium, the following changes are made: 1 ° paragraph 1erformera paragraph 1;
2 ° paragraph (2), which will form, paragraph 2 is replaced by the following: "§ § 2 2" The offender who abdicated its obligations is punishable by an administrative fine of 156 to 1,500 euros or, in case of recidivism in the year following a first contravention, from 300 to 6,000 euro. ";
3 ° paragraph 3 is repealed;
4 ° paragraph 4 is replaced by the following paragraph: "§ § 3 3" The Director-general of the Royal Library of Belgium or, by delegation, the head of the Department of legal deposit, imposes the fines referred to in § 2.
The fine must be paid endeans within 20 days from the day of formal notice. The notification shall take effect on the third day following the mailing of the registered letter undersigned the fine.
The offender who challenged the fine has two months to lodge an appeal with the Court of first instance."
S. 3 this Act comes into force on January 1, 2014.
Promulgate this Act, order that it be under the seal of the State and published by le Moniteur.
