5 MAI 2014. - An Act to correct a number of laws regulating a matter referred to in section 77 of the Constitution (1)



PHILIPPE, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
CHAPTER 1er. - General provision
Article 1er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 77 of the Constitution.
CHAPTER 2. - Amendments to the Act of 15 June 1935 concerning the use of languages in judicial matters
Art. 2. In section 30, paragraph 1, of the Act of 15 June 1935 concerning the use of languages in judicial matters, as amended by the Act of 3 May 2003, the words "examination on facts and articles" are replaced by the words "examination of the parties".
Art. 3. The following amendments are made to section 43 of the Act:
1° in § 11, paragraph 2, the words "of § 9" are replaced by the words "of Article 43quinquies";
2° in § 12, paragraph 1, amended by the law of September 23, 1985, the words "by an examination before the jury provided for in § 9" are replaced by the words "in accordance with Article 43quinquies".
CHAPTER 3. - Amendments to the Act of 19 July 1945 for the execution of Article 82 of the Constitution
Art. 4. In the title of the Act of 19 July 1945 to provide for the execution of Article 82 of the Constitution, the words "Article 82" are replaced by the words "Article 93".
Art. 5. In the only article of the same law, the words "Article 82" are replaced by the words "Article 93".
CHAPTER 4. - Amendments to the Act of 3 April 1953 of judicial organization
Art. 6. Article 1er of the Act of 3 April 1953 of a judicial organization, last amended by the Act of 31 December 2012, are amended as follows:
1° in the French text, the word "il" is replaced by the word "Il";
2° in the Dutch text, the word "Er" is inserted in limine.
Art. 7. Section 5 of the Act is repealed.
CHAPTER 5. - Amendments to the Judicial Code
Art. 8. In Article 151, paragraph 1 of the Judicial Code, amended by the Act of 3 May 2003, the words "Article 326, paragraph 1er"are replaced by the words "Article 326, § 1er".
Art. 9. In section 613, 4°, of the same Code, the words "Article 106" are replaced by the words "Article 158".
Art. 10. In article 615, paragraph 1er, of the same Code, as amended by the Act of 15 September 2006, the words "Article 90" are replaced by the words "Article 103".
Art. 11. The following amendments are made to section 5 of the Schedule to the Judicial Code - Territorial limits and seat of courts and tribunals, replaced by the Act of 26 June 1974:
1° in the introductory sentence, the words "Article 104" are replaced by the words "Article 156";
2° in 2°, the words "the province of Brabant" are replaced by the words "the provinces of Walloon Brabant and Flemish Brabant and the bilingual region of Brussels-Capital".
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
