16 MARS 2015. - An Act to amend the Act of 17 January 2003 relating to the status of the regulator of the Belgian postal and telecommunications sectors (1)



PHILIPPE, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The Chambers adopted and We sanction the following:
CHAPTER 1er. - Object
Article 1er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 74 of the Constitution.
This Act is the partial transfer in Belgian law of Directive 2002/21/EC on a common regulatory framework for electronic communications networks and services.
CHAPTER 2. - Amendments to the Act of 17 January 2003 relating to the status of the regulator of the Belgian postal and telecommunications sectors
Art. 2. Section 15 of the Act of 17 January 2003 on the status of the regulator of the Belgian postal and telecommunications sectors, as amended by Act 10 July 2012, is repealed.
Art. 3. In section 34 of the Act, replaced by the Act of 31 May 2011 and amended by the Acts of 10 July 2012 and 27 March 2014, the following amendments are made:
1st paragraph 1er is repealed;
2° to paragraph 2, the following amendments are made:
(a) the second sentence beginning with the words "The Council submits the draft strategic plan" and ending with the words "take only action" is repealed;
(b) in the third sentence beginning with the words "All members" and ending with the words "the House of Representatives", the words "approved" are repealed;
3° in paragraph 3, the word "minimum" is inserted between the word "during" and the words "two weeks".
Promulgate this law, order that it be clothed with the seal of the State and published by the Belgian Monitor.
