21 MAI 2015. - An Act to amend the Judicial Code with respect to the designation of a sequester (1)

PHILIPPE, King of the Belgians,
To all, present and to come, Hi.
The House of Representatives adopted and sanctioned the following:
Article 1^er. This Act regulates a matter referred to in Article 74 of the Constitution.
Art. 2. Section 584, paragraph 5, 1°, of the Judicial Code, repealed by the Act of 30 July 2013, is reinstated in the following wording:
"1° designate sequestres;".
Art. 3. Article 597 of the same Code, as amended by the Act of 30 July 2013, is supplemented by the words "in matters falling within its jurisdiction".
Art. 4. In Part Five, Part One, Chapter II, of the same Code, an article 1395/1 is inserted as follows:
"Art. 1395/1. The judge of the seizures shall decide on applications for the designation of sequesters in cases that fall within his jurisdiction. The request for the designation of a sequester is filed by unilateral request. ".
Promulgate this Act, order that it be put on the State Seal and published by the Belgian Monitor.
