453. Federal Minister of Economics and Labour Ordinance on Vocational Training in the Apprenticeship Profession Hairdresser and Wig Maker (Stylist) /hairdresser and Perückenmacherin (stylist)

On the basis of § § 8 and 24 of the Vocational Training Act, BGBl. No. 142/1969, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 79/2003, shall be ordered:

Teaching profession hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) /hairdresser and perückenmacherin (stylist)

§ 1. The teaching profession hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) /hairdresser and perückenmacherin (stylist) is set up with a teaching period of three years.

Professional profile

§ 2. Through vocational training in teaching and in the vocational school, the trained apprentice is to be able to carry out the following activities in a professional, independent and self-responsible way, with the necessary systematic training being necessary. The use of exercise heads in training is to be taken into consideration:

1.

Handling, maintenance and disinfection of the tools and apparatus to be used,

2.

Creation and design of hairstyles for women and men, including professional communication and expert advice,

3.

Shave,

4.

Hair, skin and nail care as well as nail design,

decorative cosmetics,

6.

Sales of all relevant products and advice on this matter,

7.

Manufacture and maintain hair replacement of any kind,

Form masks,

9.

Application of colour and the optical effect of colours,

§ 3 . (1) The following is defined for the teaching profession hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) /hairdresser and perückenmacherin (stylist), with the skills and knowledge mentioned, starting at the latest in the respective teaching year mentioned above, are to be conveyed in such a way that the apprentice is able to carry out a qualified activity in the sense of the professional profile:

§ 4. (1) The final examination shall be divided into a practical and theoretical examination.

(2) The practical test shall include the following items:

(4) The theoretical examination shall not apply if the candidate for examination has reached the teaching objective of the last grade of the professional vocational school or the successful completion of a vocational middle or higher school which replaces the teaching period has proven.

Practical examination

Audit work

§ 5. (1) The audit work shall include the following tasks, as indicated by the Examination Commission, on the basis of paragraph 2 of this Article:

Expert discussion

§ 6. (1) The expert interview shall be submitted before the entire examination board.

(2) The expert discussion has to be developed from the practical activity. In this case, the practical knowledge of the test specimen can be determined using technical expressions.

(3) The purpose of the topic is to correspond to the purpose of the final examination and the requirements of professional practice. Test pieces, models, display boards, demonstration objects and tools are to be used here. Questions on protective measures and accident prevention as well as on relevant hygiene rules should be included. The topic "Consultative Talk" is also to be considered.

(4) The duration of the examination in the subject-matter "expert discussion" shall not exceed 15 minutes per test item. An extension may be made on a case-by-case basis, if the examination board does not otherwise make it possible to assess the test subject without doubt.

Theoretical examination

General provisions

§ 7. (1) The theoretical examination shall be carried out in writing. It can be carried out jointly for a larger number of test specimens, if this is possible without impairment of the test sequence.

(2) The theoretical test shall in principle be held prior to the practical examination.

(3) The tasks shall be in accordance with the scope and level of the purpose of the final examination and the requirements of the professional practice.

(4) The written work of the examination candidate shall be marked accordingly.

Specialist

§ 8. (1) The subject-matter shall include the answer to one question in each of the following areas:

1.

materials and aids,

2.

tools and equipment,

3.

construction of the skin, hair and nail, knowledge of hair, skin and nail diseases,

4.

relevant colour theory.

(2) The specialist can also be examined in programmed form with questionnaires. In this case, ten tasks are to be carried out in each area.

(3) The tasks shall be carried out in such a way that they can normally be carried out in 60 minutes.

(4) The test shall be terminated after 80 minutes.

§ 9. (1) The trade mark shall include the representation of head shapes and hairstyles, as indicated.

(2) The tasks shall be carried out in such a way that they can normally be carried out in 75 minutes.

(3) The trade mark shall be terminated after 90 minutes.

Economic calculation

§ 10. (1) The "economic calculation" shall comprise two simple calculation examples.

(2) The tasks shall be carried out in such a way that they can normally be carried out in 30 minutes.

(3) The examination shall be terminated after 40 minutes.

Repeat Review

§ 11. (1) The final examination of the Lehrabate can be repeated.

(2) If up to three items have been rated "Not enough", the repeat examination shall be limited to the items rated "Not enough".

(3) If more than three items have been rated "Not enough", the entire test shall be repeated.

Ratio numbers

§ 12. (1) For the training in the teaching profession hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) /hairdresser and perückenmacherin (stylist) the following ratios according to § 8 (3) of the Vocational Training Act (professionally qualified persons-apprentices) will be set out:

(2) Specially relevant persons are:

1.

Industrial property owners,

2.

industrial-law managing directors,

3.

relevant trainers,

4.

Persons who have taken the teaching profession "hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) /hairdresser and wig maker (stylist)" or in the teaching profession "hairdresser and wig maker (stylist)",

5.

Persons who have passed the final examination in a teaching profession related to the teaching profession "hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) /hairdresser (stylist) /hairdresser (stylist)" and who have been working professionally at least for two years,

6.

Persons who have been professionally active for at least five years and who have carried out qualified activities in the process.

(3) The ratios of apprentices in the last four months of their apprenticeship and apprentices to which at least two years of teaching have been replaced by application of § 28 or/and § 29 of the Vocational Training Act are not to be set off.

(4) The ratios are not to be calculated on the basis of the relevant professional persons who are employed only temporarily or for the first time in the holding.

(5) If apprentices are trained in a holding in more than one teaching profession, then persons who are technically relevant for more than one of these teaching occupations are to be counted only on the ratio number of one of these teaching occupations. If, however, only one person is employed in one holding, but one for all the relevant teaching professions, he/she shall be employed, subject to compliance with the relevant teaching profession for each of the relevant teaching professions. Ratio numbers-a total of three apprentices will be trained.

(6) A trainers shall be counted as a professionally qualified person in the determination of the ratios referred to in paragraph 1. If, however, he is entrusted with training tasks in more than one teaching profession, he is to be counted as a professionally trained person in the ratio numbers of all the teaching professions in which he trains apprentices.

§ 13. (1) The following ratios are laid down for the training in the teaching profession hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) /hairdresser (stylist) according to § 8 (7) of the Vocational Education and Training Act (Ausbilder-Lehrling):

1.

Two apprentices, at least one instructing person, who is not solely responsible for training tasks,

2.

on three apprentices, at least one instructing person, who is solely responsible for training tasks.

(2) However, the ratio in accordance with Section 12 (1) may not be exceeded.

(3) A instructing body responsible for training in more than one teaching profession may, in accordance with § 8 (7) of the Vocational Training Act, pay attention to the respective ratios laid down for each of the teaching occupations concerned. a total of at most so many apprentices, as the highest number of apprentices according to § 8 (7) of the Vocational Training Act, corresponds to the teaching profession in question.

Closure and transitional provisions

§ 14. (1) With the entry into force of this Regulation, without prejudice to paragraph 2, the training regulations for the teaching profession hairdresser and perückenmacher (stylist), BGBl, are to be found. No 636/1996, except for force.

(2) apprentices who are on the day of the proclamation of this regulation in the teaching profession hairdresser and wig maker (stylist), BGBl. No 636/1996, are trained in the third year of teaching, are to be trained by the end of the agreed apprenticeship period in accordance with this training regulations and may, up to one year after the end of the agreed period of apprenticeship, be subject to the examination of the teaching qualification in accordance with the teaching period agreed in this Training regulations set out in the examination regulations. If, however, a transition to the teaching profession hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) /hairdresser and wig maker (stylist) is made by way of a change in the teaching contract, its provisions are to be applied.
