137. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Labour, Social Affairs and Consumer Protection for the temporary employment of foreigners in summer tourism

Due to § 5 of the Foreigners Employment Act-AuslBG, BGBl. No. 218/1975, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I n ° 135/2009, shall be:

§ 1. (1) For the summer tourism sector, a quota of 1 500 for the temporary employment of foreign workers shall be established and allocated among the Länder as follows:

Lower Austria: ........................................................... 95, of which 30 are for show-setting

Upper Austria: ......................................................... 195, of which 20 are for show-setting companies

Salzburg: ................................................... 305, of which 2 are for show-setting companies

Steiermark: ......................................................... 195, of which 35 are for show-setting

Tyrol: ........................................................ 330

Vorarlberg: .............................................................. 135

Vienna: ........................................................ 65, of which 50 for Schaustellerbetriebe

§ 2. (1) In the framework of these quotas, authorisations of employment may be granted, the duration of which shall not exceed 25 weeks, and shall not be allowed after 31 December. October 2011.

(2) Nationals subject to the transitional provisions on the free movement of workers of the EU (§ 32a AuslBG), and asylum seekers are to be preferred in the granting of the employment permits.

§ 3. This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 May 2011 and with the expiry of 30 September 2011.
