Following a further note by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the Kingdom of the Netherlands 1 On 17 February 2010 the following statement was made:
The Kingdom of the Netherlands declares, in accordance with Article 12 (2) of the Protocol to the 1979 Convention on Long-Range Transboundary Air Pollution on Persistent Organic Substances, that both of those referred to in this paragraph Dispute settlement procedures are accepted as mandatory vis-à-vis each Party which recognises one or both of the means of dispute settlement.
