59. Bundesgesetz, which amalgated the road traffic regulations in 1960 (24. StVO-Novelle)
The National Council has decided:
The Road Traffic Regulations 1960 (StVO 1960), BGBl. No 159, as last amended by BGBl. I No 34/2011, shall be amended as follows:
(1) The following paragraph 6 is added to § 46:
" (6) Stock of traffic on a directional lane in a section with at least two lanes, vehicles must be used for the passage of vehicles in the middle between the lanes, in sections with more than two lanes. between the extreme left and the adjacent lane, forming a free lane; this lane may be used, except for use vehicles, only by vehicles of the road service and the vehicles of the breakdown service. "
§ 47 together with the title is:
" Motorways
§ 47. Highways are the main roads; for them, the provisions relating to the traffic on motorways contained in § 46 (1), (3), (4) and (6) apply. "
3. In Section 99 (2c), the point at the end of Z 8 shall be replaced by a dash and the following Z 9 and 10 shall be added:
