On the occasion of the deposit of its instrument of accession, the Republic of Moldova made the following statement:
Pending the full restoration of the territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, the Convention shall apply only to the territory which is effectively controlled by the authorities of the Republic of Moldova.
