327. Ordinance of the Federal Minister of Health on the prohibition of the use of bisphenol A in sedative suckers and biting rings
On the basis of § 19 (1) of the Food Safety and Consumer Protection Act-LMSVG, BGBl. I n ° 13/2006, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 95/2010, shall be arranged:
§ 1. (1) The subject matter of this Regulation is sedative suckers and biting rings (utility items according to § 3 Z 7 lit. c LMSVG).
(2) It is prohibited to manufacture or place on the market sedatives and biting rings with bisphenol A.
§ 2. (1) This Regulation shall enter into force three months after the month after which it is to be held.
(2) Sealing and biting rings which do not comply with this Regulation may be placed on the market until stocks are dismantled.
§ 3. This Regulation has been adopted in accordance with the provisions of Directive 98 /34/EC laying down a procedure for the provision of information in the field of technical standards and regulations, OJ L 206, 22.7.1998. No. OJ L 204, 21.7.1998, p. 37, as amended by Directive 98 /48/EC, OJ L 201, 31.7.1998, p. No. 18, of the European Commission (notification number 2011 /0050/A).
