331. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Agriculture, Forestry, Environment and Water Management on the use of lead-scrap ammunition in hunting for waterfowl

Due to § 17 (1) of the Chemicals Act (ChemG 1996), BGBl. I No 53/1997, as amended by the Federal Law of the Federal Republic of Germany (BGBl). Target

§ 1. The aim of this Regulation is to reduce the entry of lead into the environment by banning lead-scrap ammunition in the hunt for waterfowl.

Ban

§ 2. (1) The use of lead-scrap ammunition in the hunt for waterfowl is prohibited.

(2) Waterbirds as referred to in paragraph 1 shall be those in the Annex listed birds.

§ 3. This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 July 2012.

Information procedure

§ 4.
