Autertal-St. Lorenzener Hochmoor
The St. Lorenzener Hochmoor, also called "Autertal" (N 46 ° 52 ', E 13 ° 55'), is located in the province of Carinthia in the area of the Gurktaler Alps in the municipality of Reichenau (district of Feldkirchen) near the Turracher Höhe. The moor area is located in an NW-SE oriented approx. 1.5 km long high valley in 1470 m above sea level just north of the village of St. Lorenzen. The high valley is bordered in the east by the foothold of the Great (2270 m) and Small Speikkofels (2109 m) and in the west by the long-drawn ridge of the Hochkaser (1804 m).
