19. Federal Act, with which the Leave Act and the Land Labour Act 1984 are amended

The National Council has decided:

Article 1

Amendment of the Leave Act

The Leave Act, BGBl. No 390/1976, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 100/2010, is hereby amended as follows:

1. § 4 (5) second sentence reads:

" This period is extended when a Karenz is used in accordance with the Väter-Karenzgesetz (VKG-Karenzgesetz-VKG), BGBl. No. 651/1989, or in accordance with the Maternity Protection Act 1979 (MSchG), BGBl. No. 221/1979, around the period of the Karenz. "

Article 2

Amendment of the Land Labour Act 1984

The Landarbeitsgesetz 1984, BGBl. No 287, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 152/2011 shall be amended as follows:

1. (Policy determination) Section 69 (5) second sentence reads as follows:

"This period shall be extended by the period of the Karenz in the case of the use of a Karenz in accordance with § § 26a, 26e, 105 and 105d."

2. (federal law directly applicable) The following paragraph 50 is added to section 285:

" (50) (federal law directly applicable) The laws of execution of the Länder to § 69 (5) in the version of the Federal Law BGBl. I No 19/2012 shall be adopted within six months of the date of the event. "
