89. Regulation of the Federal Minister for agriculture and forestry, environment and water management, modifies the DAC regulation "Leitha mountain" and the DAC regulation "Eisenberg"

On the basis of section 34 para 1 of the wine Act of 2009, Federal Law Gazette I no. 111, as last amended by the Federal Act Federal Law Gazette I no. 111/2010, is prescribed:

1. the regulation of the Federal Minister for agriculture and forestry, environment and water management in the setting of conditions for regional quality wines with origin profiles for the wine-growing region Leithaberg, Federal Law Gazette II No. 252/2009 in the version of Federal Law Gazette I is no. 111/2009, as follows altered:



1. paragraph 1:



§ 1. The political district Eisenstadt environment, the Eisenstadt of city of and the political communities Jois and winds as well as in the municipality of Neusiedl am see the vineyards of Marthalwald, Marthaläcker, country road pasture, sugar coat I & II, long Ohn, extremes, Sandhu, long Neuberg, Fügler, upper & lower Froschau, short Neuberg, lower Neuberg, upper meadows, lower & upper to upper & lower blind mountain, and dwarf lands and long & medium Sauerbrunn form the vineyard Leithaberg.



2. paragraph 2 No. 3:



3. white wine must be made from the quality wine grapes "Pinot Blanc,"Pinot Blanc"("Pinot Blanc"),"Chardonnay","Neuburger","Grüner Veltliner"or be been prepared from a blend of these varieties."



3. paragraph 2 No. 6:



"6. the existing alcohol content is to specify at least 12.5%."



4. paragraph 2 Z 10:



10 expansion and placed on the market: a. Red Leithaberg DAC must be in oak barrels expanded and may not before 1 September of the second year after the crop delivered to the consumer; an application must be April the second year after the harvest to the obtaining of State control number only in the period to November off;

b. White Leithaberg DAC may not be placed before 1 September of the year following the harvest to the consumer; an application for obtaining the State control number must be only in the period of April to November from the harvest next year.

2. the regulation of the Federal Minister for agriculture and forestry, environment and water management in the setting of conditions for regional quality wines with origin profiles for the wine-growing area of Eisenberg, Federal Law Gazette II No. 57/2010, is amended as follows:



§ 2 is no. 7:



"7"Eisenberg DAC"(can be placed under one of the following two categories in transport: a)"Eisenberg DAC":-flavour: typical of the variety, fruity, mineral spicy;"

-Colour: intense red covered;

-Smell: typical, refreshing bouquet;

-Removal: no to barely noticeable wood tone.

-the existing alcohol content is to specify at least 12.0% on the label;

-Closure: Cork or screw cap glass closure;

-the wine must not be placed before 1 September of the year following the harvest to the consumer; a request may be used to obtain the State control number for wine with the denomination "Eisenberg DAC" from 1 June of the year following the harvest.

b) "Eisenberg DAC", stating the term "Reserve": - Taste: varietal fruity, mineral spicy, full-bodied, with potential;

-Expansion: in traditional large oak casks or barrels.

-the existing alcohol content is 13.0% vol. to specify on the label;

-the wine must not be placed before 1 March of the year following the harvest second to the consumer; an application for obtaining the State control number for wine with the denomination "Eisenberg DAC reserve" from 1 January of the year following the harvest second allowed;

"- Closure: Cork, screw cap or glass shutter."
