129. Regulation of the Federal Minister for health, modifies the epizootic investigation obligation regulation
On the basis of § 13 para 2 of the animal diseases Act (TSG), RGBl. No. 177/1909, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I no. 36/2008 and Federal Law Gazette I no. 3/2009, and § 53 para 7 of food safety and Consumer Protection Act (LMSVG), Federal Law Gazette I no. 13/2006, last amended by Federal Law Gazette I no. 95/2010, is prescribed:
The epizootic investigation duty regulation, BGBl. II No 90/2007, is amended as follows:
1. paragraph 3:
„§ 3. In cattle, which are born in Austria or in a country listed in the annex, is a test for the presence of BSE from an age of 72 months. Other cattle must be tested from the age of 30 months for the presence of BSE. For ovine and caprine animals in accordance with article 2, paragraph 1, no. 2 is a test for the presence of scrapie perform. Solipeds are to investigate on snot."
