134. Presentation of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Family and Youth on the appointment of Austrian Power Grid AG to the transmission system operator

According to § 34 (8) of the Electricity Economic and Organization Act 2010 (ElWOG 2010), Federal Law Gazette (BGBl). I No 110/2010, shall be made known:

The Energy-Control Austria for the regulation of the electricity and natural gas industry (E-Control) has announced with a communication of 12 March 2012, Zl. V ZER 01/11, as well as with letter of amendment of 19 March 2012, Zl. V ZER 01 /11-26, notes that Austrian Power Grid AG fulfils the requirements of § 28 bis § 32 ElWOG 2010 and thus as an independent transmission operator (ITO) according to § 34 para. 1 Z 3 ElWOG 2010 is certified.

In accordance with Section 34 (8) of the ElWOG 2010, Austrian Power Grid AG is thus designated as a transmission system operator.
