181. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Economic Affairs, Family and Youth on Vocational Training in the Apprenticeship Profession of Painter and Coating Engineer/in (Maler/in and Coating Technology/in-Training Regulations)

On the basis of § § 8 and 24 of the Vocational Training Act (BAG), BGBl. No. 142/1969, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 35/2012, shall be arranged:

Teaching profession Painter/in and coating technician

§ 1. (1) The teaching profession painter/in and coating technician is established with a teaching period of three years and the following focuses:

1.

functional coatings,

2.

Historical painting technique,

3.

Decorative technique,

4.

Corrosion protection.

(2) In addition to the general part, the teaching establishment has at least one focal point. Additional training in individual skills and knowledge of other focal points is possible.

(3) The terms chosen in this Regulation shall include the male and female form. In the teaching contracts, teaching certificates, teaching certificates and teaching letters, the teaching profession is to be described in the form corresponding to the sex of the apprentist (painters and coating technicians or painter and coating technician).

(4) In any case, the training of the centre of gravity is to be noted in the apprenticeship contract by means of a corresponding notice in addition to the name of the teaching profession. § 2. Coordination and mixing of colour tones with due regard to light and acceptance requirements,

Painting of architectural imitations from different epochs and cultures, as well as landscape representations in different vegetation forms,

Production and application of imitates such as wood, stone, marble, textile, and metal limitations as well as crack and fracture imitations,

g)

Draw and produce typefaces and ornaments,

h)

Painting of stage backgrounds and walls,

i)

Advice from customers.

4.

Painters/in and coating technicians/in-focus corrosion protection:

a)

Set up and secure construction sites as well as the installation of driving, carrying, hanging and jib scaffolding (maintenance, operation) as well as the installation and removal of planning and housing for protection against weather and environmental influences,

b)

Check and evaluate the reasons,

c)

Preparation of substrates for further processing by cleaning, removal of old coatings and repair of damage sites,

d)

Determine damage caused by corrosion, corrosion and corrosion,

e)

Select the corrosion protection measures or the protection and repair procedures;

§ 6. (1) The examination shall include the substantive answer to questions from all the following areas:

§ 10. (1) The expert interview shall be submitted before the entire examination board.

(4) The expert discussion should take 20 minutes for each examination candidate. An extension of not more than ten minutes has to be made in individual cases, if the examination board is not otherwise able to assess the performance of the examination candidate without a doubt.

§ 11. (1) The final examination of the Lehrabate can be repeated.

(2) In the case of the repetition of the examination, only the test items rated "not enough" shall be considered.

§ 12. (1) This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 June 2012.

(2) The training regulations for the teaching profession of painters and livers, BGBl. No. 190/1971, as amended by the Regulation, BGBl. II No 177/2005, without prejudice to paragraph 4, with the expiry of 31 May 2012.

(3) The Examination Regulations for the Teacher and Anstreicher, BGBl. No. 164/1975, as amended by the BGBl Regulation. No 355/1976, without prejudice to paragraph 4, with the expiry of 31 May 2020.

(4) Apprentices who are trained in the teaching profession on 31 May 2012 in the teaching profession are to be trained in accordance with the training regulations referred to in paragraph 2 and can be used until 31 May 2020 in accordance with the examination regulations referred to in paragraph 3 above.
