On the basis of § 65a of the Higher Education Act 2005 (HG), BGBl. I n ° 30/2006, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 73/2011, shall be arranged:

Area of control and regulation

§ 1. This Regulation lays down the principles for the further development of the curricula of the course for higher education after-qualification according to § 65a of the Higher Education Act 2005 (HG), BGBl. I n ° 30/2006, and applies to the public pedagogical universities according to § 1 (1) (1) (1) (1) (9) of the German Higher Education Act (HG) as well as to recognised private educational institutions and recognised private study programmes

Definitions

§ 2. The scope of this Regulation shall be understood as:

1.

"Leading activity", in any case, a one-year activity, which includes a pedagogical leadership and strategic control function, organisational and personnel development, quality assurance, consulting and conflict management, such as in particular: Function as head of school or Head of school, as a department or expert -executive board, as an institution of school supervision or a management function at a pedagogical university;

2.

Under "Project Management", senior mentors of temporary targeted measures in the field of schooling to the extent of, in any case, four hours per year (including pre- and post-processing), which serve as a basis for school and educational development, such as: , in particular, cross-class and inter-school and cross-school projects as well as project-related collaborations with non-school institutions;

3.

in "relevant publications" publications, which are published in one or more of the articles in § § 10 or 16 der Hochschul-Curriculaverordnung, HCV, BGBl. II No. 495/2006, mentioned subject areas of study at a scientific level under a clear authorship (such as scientific books and journals, school textbooks and bachelor theses, diploma, master's and master's theses and Dissertations, which have not already been recognized as a Bachelor thesis in accordance with § 57 HG).

Educational objectives

§ 3. (1) The course for higher education qualification has to cover the difference between the curricula of the teacher training courses for the Bachelor course according to the provisions of the HG in accordance with the changed professionalization requirements in the teaching profession. The curriculum has to include a qualification profile.

(2) The course has

1.

to deepen and broaden the scientific and occupational field-related competencies,

2.

to convey new scientific career-related findings in the pedagogical world of work and

3.

to empower students in practical research skills.

Modules

§ 4. (1) In the course of the course for the postqualification of higher education, the total amount of 30 ECTS credits must be taught from the following modules:

(2) With regard to the Bachelor thesis (9 ECTS credits), § 12 HCV shall apply mutatis mutinly.

Competence portfolio

§ 5. (1) Each applicant shall be each applicant has its own to document his qualifications required for obtaining a secondary qualification in a competence portfolio. In particular:

1.

successfully completed teacher training studies,

2.

successfully completed studies based on teacher training to obtain additional teaching qualifications,

3.

Successfully completed university and technical college studies,

4.

Successfully completed postgraduate and postgraduate training courses (courses and university courses at the institutions according to § 1 HG, university courses at the previous institutions of the universities of teacher education, university and university studies). Universities of applied sciences, additional training for special school teachers),

5.

leadership activities,

6.

Project Support,

7.

relevant publications, and

8.

other qualifications relevant to the teaching profession

and to apply for recognition on the course of the university's secondary qualification.

(2) Weiters are to be employed at post-secondary educational institutions in the form of bachelor's theses, diploma, master's, master's theses and dissertations for the recognition of the bachelor's thesis in accordance with § 57 HG.

Organization

§ 6. The course for high school secondary qualification is to be offered as a part-time course of study. All courses are, as far as possible, in the course-free time in accordance with § 3 (1) of the German Federal High School Time Ordinance, Federal Law Gazette (BGBl). II No 202/2007, with the exception of the Sundays and the public holidays.

Award of the academic degree

§ 7. (1) The academic degree "Bachelor of Education (BEd)" can only be awarded once on the basis of higher-education qualifications.

(2) In the case of § 65a (1) (1) (1), the "Bachelor of Education (BEd)" shall be awarded to a number of teaching posts for that teaching degree which, in accordance with the application of the admissions advertising, is/are to be awarded. of the admittant for the admission to the post-qualification process.

(3) In the case of § 65a (1) (2), the academic degree "Bachelor of Education (BEd)" shall be awarded for that teaching degree, for which the admissions acquisition is/are to be awarded. the receiving advertiser is applying for the award.

entry into force

§ 8. This Regulation shall enter into force 1. Jänner 2013 in force.
