460. Regulation of the Federal Minister of Health on the qualification profile and training for sports scientists in the training therapy (Training Therapy Training Ordinance-TT-AV)

On the basis of § 34 Z 1 and 2 of the Federal Act on Medical Assistance occupations and the exercise of training therapy (Medical Assistance occupations-Law-MABG), BGBl. I No 89/2012, shall be arranged:

Skill Profile

§ 1. One/One Training Therapy/in

1.

Has, on the basis of his/her anatomical, physiological and pathological knowledge, qualified knowledge of the common medical terminology;

2.

Is familiar with typical organizational structures and process sequences at facilities where training therapy is carried out, as well as with the possible role and function of sports scientists in such facilities;

3.

The training therapy, including blood sampling from the capillary, can carry out the measurement of the lactate professionally and knows the tasks and limits of its own competence as well as the responsibility of other health professionals in the field of Training therapy;

4.

controls the indications for the implementation of a training therapy;

5.

Recognises contraindications for the implementation of training therapies and may, in the event of a suspicion, arrange for a medical statement;

6.

is capable of carrying out the medical training-therapeutic stress tests required for the training therapy;

7.

can, within the framework of the medical arrangement and depending on the respective therapy goal, draw up a training therapy plan adapted to the needs and resources of the respective patient (selection/determination of suitable training methods/types, training intensity, duration, frequency, etc.) and, where appropriate, adapt them in accordance with the situational requirements;

8.

Controls the handling of the equipment required for the respective training therapy (including adaptation to the patient-specific requirements) and can provide the patient with correct handling;

9.

is capable of directing patients to adequate training;

10.

can identify life-threatening conditions and set the appropriate first-aid measures;

11.

knows his/her documentation requirements and requirements as well as selected documentation systems;

12.

is qualified to act in accordance with the legal and technical requirements regarding hygiene in its activities;

13.

in particular in dealing with patients and accompanying persons, is the importance of a respectful attitude, kindness, empathy, the need to preserve the intimacy, secrecy, the professional ethics Aware of principles and sensitivity for different cultures, and has basic skills in communication to initiate compliance of patients;

14.

can be involved in interdisciplinary treatment teams on the basis of his/her professional and social communicative competences and self-competence;

15.

controls the legal basis of the training therapy and of the health care professions active in the field of training therapy.

Training

§ 2. (1) The theoretical and practical training shall be in accordance with the minimum requirements set out in the Appendix and shall ensure the attainment of the qualification profile in accordance with § 1.

(2) The training in training therapy is to be carried out at universities that offer the degree of study of sports sciences, or at universities of applied sciences, which offer physiotherapy at the University of Applied Sciences in the University of Applied Sciences, and quality assurance.

(3) In the course of the implementation of the theoretical training, the regulations governing the performance of the study of the sports sciences or the study of the University of Applied Sciences in Physiotherapy are to be applied in each case. For the teaching of theoretical training, which also includes practical exercises, competent persons are to be used.

(4) The planning, organisation, implementation and evaluation of practical training at the traineeships are based in particular on the following principles, training and learning strategies:

The trainee is integrated as an intern in an interdisciplinary team and has direct contact with the respective target group.

2.

The theory-practice-transfer is continuously and continuously supported, supported, reflected, consolidated and deepened.

3.

Within the framework of practical training, at least eight training therapy cycles are carried out under competent guidance and the competence acquisition is documented in the form of training therapeutic decurts (standardized training protocol). In doing so, personal data are avoided and the acquired skills are documented in an anonymized way.

4.

The acquisition of competences within the scope of the individual internships and their documentation must be assessed by the internship manager.

5.

A sufficient number of technically suitable internship positions in the intra-and extramural sector in accordance with § 29 para. 1 MABG is to be ensured by appropriate agreements (cooperation agreement).

6.

The professional competence of a traineeship is provided if the competence transfer provided for the respective internship is ensured.

7.

The structural suitability of an internship position is provided if it has the necessary qualitative and quantitative staff and equipment for the provision of the necessary skills to the trainees. In particular, it is ensured that a competent person is responsible for at most two apprentices at the same time during the entire traineeship and continuously cares for them (training key 1: 2).

8.

The suitability of a traineeship in the field of safety and health at work shall be provided if the equipment is available to the latest state of the art and to the findings in the field of work design, and the measures are taken to prevent health risks and the risks of accidents.

9.

The instruction for practical training at the traineeships is carried out by agreement and with continuous feedback with the respective lecturers of the theoretical training. It requires a pedagogically didactic preparation, implementation, follow-up, reflection and evaluation.

10.

The instruction for the practical training at the internship positions is done by competent persons. The internship managers must have professional experience in a professional field relevant for the relevant internship, as well as pedagogically didactically for the placement of the skills to be acquired in the respective internship may be suitable.

(5) A confirmation is to be issued on a positively completed supplementary training in the training therapy. The confirmation shall contain a reference to this Regulation.
