35. Regulation of the Federal Minister for agriculture and forestry, environment and water management via name, seat and territorial jurisdiction of the departments of the torrent and avalanche control (torrent and avalanche control services regulation WLV-DienststellenV)

Due to section 102 paragraph 7 of the forestry law 1975, BGBl. No. 440/1975, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I no. 55/2007, is prescribed:

Name, seat and territorial jurisdiction of the departments of the forestry service for torrent and avalanche control

§ 1. The name, the seat and the territorial jurisdiction of the sections and field supervision of the forestry service of the torrent and avalanche control are determined as follows:



1. section 1 - Vienna, lower Austria and Burgenland with its seat in Vienna and the territorial jurisdiction of the States of Vienna, lower Austria and Burgenland;

((a) area construction management 1.1 - lower West with its seat in Melk and jurisdiction for the aa) political districts, Amstetten, Horn, Krems, Melk, Scheibbs, Sankt Pölten, Waidhofen on the Thaya and Zwettl, bb) cities Krems on the Danube, Sankt Pölten and Waidhofen an der Ybbs.

(b) area construction management 1.2 - Vienna, Burgenland and lower Austria East headquartered in Wiener Neustadt and the territorial jurisdiction of the aa) countries in Vienna and Burgenland, bb) political districts Baden, Bruck der Leitha, Gänserndorf, Hollabrunn, Korneuburg, Lilienfeld, Mistelbach, Mödling, Neunkirchen, Schwechat, Tulln, Wien-Umgebung and Wiener Neustadt, cc) city of Wiener Neustadt;

2. section 2 - Upper Austria headquartered in Linz and the territorial jurisdiction of the province of Upper Austria;

((a) area construction management 2.1 - Upper Austria North headquartered in Linz and the territorial jurisdiction of the aa) political wards of Eferding, Freistadt, Grieskirchen, Linz-land, PERG, Rohrbach, Schärding and Urfahr-Umgebung, bb) city of Linz;

b) area construction management 2.2 - Upper West headquartered in Bad Ischl and the territorial jurisdiction of the political districts of Braunau am Inn, Gmunden, Ried im Innkreis and vöcklabruck.

c) area construction management 2.3 - Upper Austria East headquartered in Kirchdorf an der Krems and the territorial jurisdiction for the aa) bb political districts of Wels-land, Kirchdorf an der Krems and Steyr-land) towns of Steyr and WELS;

3. section 3 - Salzburg with its seat in Salzburg and the territorial jurisdiction of the province of Salzburg;

a) area construction management 3.1 - Pinzgau headquartered in Zell at the Lake and the territorial jurisdiction of the political district of Zell am see.

((b) area construction management 3.2 - Pongau, Salzburg-Umgebung and Tennengau with its seat in Salzburg and the territorial jurisdiction of the aa) political districts Hallein, Salzburg-Umgebung, Sankt Johann im Pongau except the villages of Altenmarkt im Pongau, Eben im Pongau, Filzmoos, Flachau, Forstau, Radstadt and Untertauern, bb) city of Salzburg;

((c) area construction management 3.3 - Lungau headquartered in Tamsweg, the territorial jurisdiction for aa) the political district of Tamsweg, bb) the villages of Altenmarkt im Pongau, Eben im Pongau, Filzmoos, Flachau, Forstau, Radstadt and Untertauern.

4. section 4 - Styria with its seat in Graz and the territorial jurisdiction of the province of Styria;

a) area construction management 4.1 - Styria North headquartered in Liezen, jurisdiction for the political district of Liezen.

b) area construction management 4.2 - Styria West headquartered in Scheifling and jurisdiction for the political districts of Murau, Murtal, Deutschlandsberg and Voitsberg.

c) area construction management 4.3 - Styria East headquartered in Bruck at Mur and the territorial jurisdiction of the aa) political districts of Bruck Mürzzuschlag, Graz-Umgebung, Hartberg-Fürstenfeld, Leibnitz, Leoben, South-Eastern Styria and Weiz, bb) city of Graz;

5. section 5 - Carinthia based in Villach and the territorial jurisdiction of the province of Carinthia;

(a) area construction management 5.1 - Carinthia North West based in Villach and the territorial jurisdiction of the political district Spittal an der Drau with the exception of the municipalities of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Millstatt, Seeboden at Millstätter See, Radenthein.

((b) area construction management 5.2 - Carinthia Northeast based in Villach and the territorial jurisdiction of the aa) political districts of Feldkirchen, Sankt Veit am Glan and Wolf Mountain, bb) municipalities of Bad Kleinkirchheim, Millstatt, Seeboden am Millstätter See, Radenthein, Afritz am see, Arriach and Feld am see and meet at Lake Ossiach.

((c) area construction management 5.3 - Carinthia South headquartered in Villach and the territorial jurisdiction of the aa) Klagenfurt-land, political districts Hermagor, Villach-land - with the exception of municipalities Afritz am see, Arriach, field on the Lake and meet at the Ossiacher See - and Völkermarkt, bb) cities of Klagenfurt and Villach.

6 section 6 - Tyrol headquartered in Innsbruck and the territorial jurisdiction of the Tyrol, Austria;

a) area construction management 6.1 - Außerfern headquartered in Lechaschau and jurisdiction for the political district of Reutte.

b) area construction management 6.2 - upper Inn Valley with its seat in Imst and the territorial jurisdiction of the political districts Imst and Landeck.

((c) area construction management 6.3 - Middle Inn Valley with its seat in Innsbruck and the territorial jurisdiction of the aa) political district of Innsbruck-land and Schwaz, bb) city of Innsbruck;

d) area construction management 6.4 - lower Inn Valley with its seat in Wörgl and jurisdiction for the political districts of Kitzbühel and Kufstein.

e) area construction management 6.5 - East Tyrol with its seat in Lienz and the territorial jurisdiction of the political district of Lienz.

7 section 7 - Vorarlberg headquartered in Bregenz and the territorial jurisdiction of the province of Vorarlberg;

a) area construction management 7.1 - Bregenz headquartered in Bregenz and the territorial jurisdiction of the political districts of Bregenz, Dornbirn and Feldkirch;

b) area construction management 7.2 - Bludenz headquartered in Bludenz and the territorial jurisdiction of the political district of Bludenz.

Entry into force

§ 2. This Regulation shall enter into force 1 January 2013.

Repeal of legislation

§ 3. With the entry into force of this regulation occurs the torrent and avalanche control - services regulation, Federal Law Gazette No. 72/1978, as last amended by regulation BGBl. II Nr 195/2004, override.
