According to the Communications of the Director-General of the World Intellectual Property Organization, the following other countries have their accession documents to the Protocol to the Madrid Agreement on the International Registration of Brands (BGBl. III. No 32/1999, as last amended by BGBl. III n ° 88/2008, last proclamation of the BGBl scope. III, No 109/2010):

Furthermore:

Denmark 2 on the 11th October 2010 states that the Protocol does not provisionally apply to Greenland; and

the Netherlands 3 announced that the Netherlands Antilles with 10. October 2010 have stopped to exist. From that date on, the Protocol will continue to apply to the European part of the Netherlands, to Curaçao and Sint Maarten, as well as to the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, which form the Caribbean part of the Netherlands.
