76. Federal law that modifies the compulsory school attendance Act 1985 and the school education Act

The National Council has decided:

Article 1

Amendment of the compulsory education Act 1985

The compulsory school attendance Act 1985, BGBl. No. 76/1985, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I no. 75/2013, is amended as follows:

1. paragraph 18, together with the heading:

"Further visit of secondary compulsory education in the 9th and a voluntary 10th year

§ 18 students of negligible, the Hauptschule and the new middle school who have not successfully completed one or more stages of the visited school in the 8th year of compulsory schooling are entitled to visit in the 9th and in a voluntary 10 attended school continue to attend school or the Polytechnic School. The same applies to children with special educational needs who attend a general compulsory education in accordance with Article 8a, paragraph 1."

2. § 19 including the header is omitted.

17 the following paragraph is added to section 3. 30:

Article 2

Amendment of the Education Act

The school education Act, Federal Law Gazette No. 472/1986, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I no. 75/2013, is amended as follows:

1 in § 32, paragraph 2a is replaced the quote "section 19 para 1" by the quote "section 18".

2. in article 82 the following paragraph inserted after para 5w 5 x:

"(5x) § 32 para 2a in the version of Federal Law Gazette I no. 76/2013 effective with June 1, 2013."
