179. Presentation of the Federal Chancellor concerning the scope of the Protocol on the Status of Refugees

According to statements by the Secretary-General of the United Nations, the following states have their accession instruments to the Protocol on the Status of Refugees (BGBl. No 78/1974, last proclamation of the BGBl area. III N ° 216/2005):

Furthermore, Montenegro, with its effectiveness of 3 June 2006, has declared that it should continue to comply with the Protocol.

According to other communications from the Secretary-General,

-

Guatemala 1 on 26 April 2007 withdrew the reservation declared on the occasion of the deposit of the instrument of accession and the declaration made; and

-

the Republic of Korea 2 On 1 September 2009, the reservation declared on the occasion of accession was withdrawn.

In addition, the Netherlands 3 , with effect from 22 June 2011, the scope extends to the Caribbean part of the Netherlands (the islands of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba).
