304. Proclamation of the Federal Chancellor concerning the scope of the European Convention for the prevention of torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment as amended by protocols No. 1 and no. 2

After notifications the Secretary of General of the Council of Europe, following further States have their instruments of ratification of the European Convention for the prevention of torture and inhuman or degrading treatment or punishment as amended by protocols No. 1 and no. 2 (BGBl. No. 74 / 1989, BGBl. III No. 198/2002 and Federal Law Gazette III No. 199/2002, last proclamation of the scope BGBl. III No. 187/2002) deposited :

Also said Montenegro with effect from 6 June 2006, continue to consider themselves bound at the Convention.

According to a further communication of the Secretary General of the Council of Europe the United kingdom1 has extended the scope of the Convention with effect from 1st February 2014 on October 10, 2013 to the sovereign bases of Akrotiri and Dhekelia.
