1. Main item

General provisions

Objective scope

§ 1. (1) The provisions of this Regulation shall apply to the testing of the handguns referred to in paragraph 2, to the testing of the most highly stressed parts of handguns referred to in paragraph 3, and to the affixing of the badges to the firearms. ,

(2) Handguns within the meaning of Section 1 (3) of the German Armed Forces Act are:

1.

Firearms: equipment in which the gas pressure caused by the combustion of blowing agents is driven by a barrel; in particular, these include:

a)

Rifles (long guns): Flinten, Büchsen;

b)

Handguns: Revolver, pistols;

2.

Equipment: portable equipment for commercial, industrial or technical purposes which are driven by the gas pressure, projectile or other mechanical parts produced by the combustion of blowing agents, in particular:

a)

Slaughterhouse apparatus;

b)

Boltsets

3.

Weapons of alarm, chilling and stimulant: equipment not designed to move a projectile;

4.

Böller: Prangersockets, Salutkanonen, etc.

(3) Maximum claimed parts of small arms within the meaning of section 1 (3) of the law on fire are finished runs, closures, drums serving as a cartridge, as well as all parts of a handgun directly exposed to the gas pressure.

(4) This Regulation shall not apply to:

1.

Firearms in accordance with paragraph 2 and the maximum claimed parts of handguns, as referred to in paragraph 3, which have been used by a force of force or manufactured or repaired by or on behalf of, and are used for the purposes of such force;

2.

Firearms pursuant to para. 2 and the most highly claimed parts of handguns according to paragraph 3, which were manufactured before 1 January 1900 and are used exclusively for decoration purposes or are retained only for their art or collection value.

(5) The testing of handguns and highly stressed parts of small arms, which are in another Member State of the Convention on the mutual recognition of handguns for handguns, BGBl. No 269/1971 in the version of Article II of the Federal Law BGBl. No 233/1984, is in principle not subject to the provisions of this Regulation and may only be made by the person concerned in that case if the Office of the Council of the other Member State requests it and confirms that: there are technical reasons which do not make it possible to test them.

Commitment to prosecutive testing

§ 2. (1) For the submission of the official testing of the handguns and the most highly stressed parts of small arms, all those natural and legal persons who manufacture these objects in Austria shall be obliged to submit them in Austria. to be placed on the market, or on the grounds that they are placed on the market.

(2) The obligation pursuant to paragraph 1 shall not apply with regard to handguns and the most highly stressed parts of handguns, which are subject to a valid Austrian (§ 19 para. 2 and 4, § 34 (1), § 48 (4)) or recognized test marks according to The provisions of the Ordinance on Examination in 2013, BGBl. II No 444/2013, as well as with regard to the shouting apparatus referred to in Article 38 (4). The obligation laid down in paragraph 1 shall also be waived in respect of those natural persons who do not have a permanent residence or permanent residence within the territory of the Republic of Austria, but only in respect of the persons who are not resident in the territory of the Use of handguns temporarily introduced into the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany and the most heavily used parts of small arms.

(3) In the cases of § § 17, 32 and 49, for the submission of the official testing of the handguns and the most highly stressed parts of handguns, all persons are obliged to carry out the operations referred to in these terms and conditions. have been made or changes have been detected.

(4) Handheld firearms or parts of handguns, which are imported from abroad, must be submitted to the national destination at the latest 30 days after they have been sent to the national destination, provided that no 2 (2) is required to The application is applied.

Acceptance of the uselable trials

§ 3. § 4. The handguns and the most highly stressed parts of handguns must be handed over to the fire-office in a clean condition.

Ammunition for handguns for ammunition with smokeless powder

Scope

§ 5. The provisions of this Headpiece shall be applied in the testing of handguns for ammunition containing smokeless powder and parts of such firearms subjected to maximum stress, as well as for the affixing of the shearmarks.

Submission

§ 6. (1) The submission of handguns and the most heavily claimed parts of handguns for final bombardings (§ 5 para. 1 law of the law) as well as the submission of purchases for the advance (§ 5 para. 2 law of the law) has to be submitted by means of the the form to be filled in ("submission sheet") , at the request of the authorities, the user has the data for the form in electronic form in a data file which is compatible with the data processing programme used in the fire office for this data collection, shall be provided. The form shall contain the following information:

1.

the name and address of the submissions;

2.

the date of submission;

3.

Name of the manufacturer of the handgun or of the most highly stressed part of a handgun;

4.

Type of handgun or of the most highly stressed part of a handgun and its whose type designation;

5.

Weapons and/or the manufacturing number;

6.

the name of the calibre or the standard designation of the ammunition to be used; in the case of calibers not included in the relevant ON-rules referred to in § 58, the indication of the maximum permissible operating gas pressure;

7.

the name of the running material used;

8.

the indication as to whether the handguns submitted are new or repaired; in the case of handguns being repaired, the indication of the repair work carried out on them;

9.

in the case of insertion sequences which are installed in a carrier weapon, the data according to Z 3 to 7 of the carrier weapon additionally.

(2) Where handguns are submitted for voluntary testing (Section 18 (1)), the form must be stated on the basis of the submission.

(3) In the case of the submission of purchases for the advance, the form shall contain only the information referred to in paragraph 1 (1) (1) to (3).

(4) On submission of flute with running constriction at the mouth ("Choke") , which is exchangeable ("Change choke") , all associated interchangeable chokes as well as the key to replace the choke are to be presented.

(5) Only handguns and/or handguns may be used with a form. the highest claimed parts of the same type and calibre are submitted.

Pre-fire

§ 7. (1) The advance of the runs of Flinten and multiple rifles is a non-destructive testing of materials by means of a magnetic tester, an ultrasonic test device, an X-ray tester or a similar device or another suitable method. ,

(2) The runs referred to in paragraph 1 must be brought to the outside on the outside and the running bore has to be pre-worked.

Pre-badmark

§ 8. (1) After passing the advance pursuant to Section 7 (1), the mark provided for in Article 19 (4) (1) shall be applied in such a way that it remains clearly visible even after completion of the handgun.

(2) In the course of the examination in accordance with Section 7 (1), occurrences of defects that can be seen on the surface of the test shall be returned to the person who has received the test without any advance warning.

Scope of the decision-making

§ 9. (1) The examination shall include:

1.

the control of the marking in accordance with § 10;

2.

the control of functional safety and visual inspection in accordance with § 11;

3.

the control of the dimensions in accordance with § 12;

4.

the final decision in accordance with § 14;

5.

the control after the final decision in accordance with § 15.

(2) When carrying out the checks referred to in paragraph 1, consideration shall be given to the specific characteristics of the various types of handguns and the most heavily used parts of small arms.

Control of labelling

§ 10. (1) In the course of the control of the marking, it must be checked whether the following information is clearly visible and permanently affixed to at least one of the most highly stressed parts of the firearm:

1.

Name, company or registered trade mark, or the manufacturer ' s signature symbol or other information enabling identification of the firearm;

2.

country or place of manufacture;

3.

Weapons and/or the manufacturing number;

4.

Year of manufacture (as far as this does not form part of the weapons or the manufacturing number);

5.

Designation of the calibre (e.g. 7 x 64, .243 Win, 12/70) on each run, if the handgun has runs of different calibers, or only on one run if all runs have the same caliber;

6.

in the case of revolvers, if the possibility of exchange of the drum is given, the designation of the caliber on each drum;

7.

the type of running material used, by indication according to ÖNORM S 1205 or the material name according to ISO (short mark of the chemical composition, e.g. 42CrMo4, 34CrNiMo6, X39CrMo17-1);

8.

in the case of small-scale handguns, the name "arms à grenaille" ("Shot Weapon");

9.

in the case of handguns with smooth running/smooth runs, the indication of the bearing depth.

(2) In the case of handguns, the calibers of which are not included in the relevant ON-rules listed in paragraph 58 above, it is also necessary to verify that the calibre designation referred to in paragraph 1 (5) is not misleading or whether the calibre is confused with others. already standardized calibers give rise to.

Control of functional safety and visual inspection

§ 11. (1) The control of functional safety comprises the testing of the reliable functioning of the loading and unloading mechanism, the closure device, the lock, the fuse and the clamping and ignition device.

(2) In the case of small-scale handguns for cartridges, the special properties of these handguns shall be considered in the control of functional safety. The use of small-scale handguns for cartridges is to be understood as a priming monkey, from which only cartridges can be fired, the size of which consists of small metallic shredder with a diameter of less than 2 mm.

(3) In the case of formerly automatic handguns, which are now semi-automatic weapons or hand repeters (e.g. military weapons) due to a conversion, it is necessary to check whether a deconstruction to automatic weapons is no longer possible.

(4) The visual inspection extends to material defects, weak points (especially regarding the adequate locking surface and the load cross-section in connection with the material strength), welding points at the most highly stressed parts, as well as Build-up of the barrel and the cartridge chamber.

(5) Long-distance tube footplates (zB Mauser Mod. 98) embedded in closure housings shall be permitted if:

1.

the wall thickness of the casing shall not be less than 2.30 mm in the wind-up area (starting from the nominal diameter of the thread and the diameter of the rotation for the closure warts), and

2.

the rearmost corner of a dovetail cutting does not overlap the upper housing lock surface.

Control of dimensions

§ 12. (1) The dimensions of the dimensions of the cartridge bearing and the barrel, the closure distance and the wall thickness of the barrel and the soldering surface distances shall be controlled in accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 2 to 9.

(2) The control of the dimensions of the running diameter shall be carried out:

1.

In the case of handguns with smooth running, with the aid of test tubes spaced from 0.05 mm at intervals of 0.05 mm or with the aid of equivalent measuring systems, which are connected to a mechanical reading device or to an electronic converter are;

2.

in the case of handguns with drawn runs, with the aid of test tubes, the dimensions of which are equal to the minimum size of the calibre in question.

(3) Control of the dimensions of the cartridge bearing and of the transition cone shall be carried out:

1.

In the case of handguns with smooth running, with the aid of minimum and maximum watches, or with the aid of equivalent measuring systems, which are connected to a mechanical reading device or to an electronic converter;

2.

in the case of handguns, with drawn-out rounds for central fire cartridges and in the case of firearms for edge-fire cartridges, with the aid of a form gauge and of conic teachings, the dimensions of which correspond to the minimum dimensions of the cartridge chamber, or with the aid of comparable measuring systems, which are connected to a mechanical reading device or to an electronic converter.

(4) On the cartridge chamber and on the barrel are to be checked:

1.

In the case of handguns with smooth runs for central fire cartridges:

a)

D: Diameter at the beginning of the cartridge chamber;

b)

L: Length of the cartridge chamber;

c)

H: Diameter at the beginning of the transition cone;

d)

T: depth of edge milking;

e)

1: transition angle;

f)

B: running diameter;

g)

Choke bore in handguns for lead-free shred, if the diameter of the shred in the case of the calibers 10 and 12 is greater than 4 mm, in the caliber 16 is greater than 3.5 mm and in the caliber 20 is greater than 3.25 mm.

The measured values must be within the tolerances specified in the ON-rule 191395; the choke bore must be equal to or not more than 0.5 mm less than the running diameter (B). The profile of the Choke should be as long as possible; the maximum inclination is 0 ° 30 " (central angle of 1 °).

2.

In the case of small-scale handguns and handguns intended for small-scale shredded firearms intended for the displacement of central fire cartridges:

a)

P1: diameter at the entrance of the cartridge chamber;

b)

L3: Length from the butt to the end of the cartridge;

c)

H2: diameter at the end of the cartridge holder;

d)

: shoulder cone angle;

e)

R: Depth of edge milling or E, depth of belt milking;

f)

G1: Diameter at the beginning of the transition cone;

g)

i: half angle of the transition cone;

h)

G: Length of transition cone;

i)

F: Field diameter;

j)

Z: tensile diameter.

The measured values shall correspond to those measures indicated in the respective ON rules, which are to be considered in accordance with § 58. If tolerances have been set for dimensions, they must be adhered to.

3.

In the case of handguns for edge fire cartridges are to be checked:

a)

P1: diameter at the entrance of the cartridge chamber;

b)

L3: Length from the butt to the end of the cartridge;

c)

H2: diameter at the end of the cartridge holder;

d)

L1: Length from the butt to the beginning of the shoulder cone;

e)

R: Depth of edge milking;

f)

F: Field diameter;

g)

Z: tensile diameter.

The measured values shall be equal to or greater than the values specified in the ON rule 191390.

(5) The closure distance shall be determined by the distance between the butt or the base and the bottom of a locking gauge, in the case of a locked lock, the dimensions of which correspond to the minimum cartridge, which shall be used in the case of small arms for

1.

Cartridges without edge with shoulder of the shoulder cone defined by the measuring pairs L1/P2 and L2/H1;

2.

Cartridges without edge and shoulder the end of the cartridge storage neck at L3;

3.

Cartridges with edge and in the case of edge fire cartridges the depth of the edge recess R;

4.

Belt cartridges the depth of the belt milking E;

5.

Shredding cartridges the depth of the edge milled part T.

Deviating definitions of the closure distance are to be found in the ON-Rules, which are in each case under consideration in § 58. The definition of the terms of reference shall be paragraph 4 or Please refer to the respective ON-Rules listed in § 58.

(6) A special procedure for the verification of the closure distance is necessary if the following conditions are met at the same time:

1.

it is a caliber without edge, in which the maximum cartridge from the minimum bearing is a value L stands out and

2.

This caliber is installed in a handgun with a closure structure sensitive to the circumstance mentioned in Z 1 (e.g. block closure, tipping closure), which in any specific case is taken by the decision-making office in agreement with the Applicants must be clarified.

In these cases, the closure distance shall be checked by means of the following specially designed teachings:

a)

Minimallehre ( L-Teaching): compared to a normal mini-pipe by the value L extended. After the introduction of the Minimal Doctrine ( L-Teaching) in the cartridge chamber the closure must be closed.

b)

Maximallehre ( L-Teaching): on the basis of minimum teaching ( L-Teaching), taking into account the maximum values for a closure distance specified in paragraph 7. After the introduction of the maximum tube into the cartridge chamber, the closure must not be closed.

The value L is to be found in the ON-Rules, which are in each case under consideration and in § 58.

(7) The closure distance shall not exceed the minimum distance referred to in paragraph 5, plus any of the following values, before and after the bombardings have taken place:

1.

In the case of long arms with drawn runs for central firing cartridges, as well as pistols and turrets for cartridges with shoulder and a sleeve length of more than 30 mm for a maximum operating gas pressure of

a)

PT max 3800 bar: 0.15 mm,

b)

PT max 3800 bar: 0,10 mm;

2.

In the case of pistols for the central firing cartridges other than those referred to in Z 1, for

a)

Cartridges with no edge with shoulder with one through the angle 1 180 ° at the beginning of the projectile crossing as well as the diameter H2 and the diameter G1 formed measure h (e.g. caliber 7.63 Mauser, 7,65 parabellum): 0.20 mm,

b)

Patrons with no edge with shoulder with an angle 1 = 180 ° and the dimensions L3 max the cartridge < L3 min the cartridge bearing (e.g. calibre 5,45x18), in which the closure distance is formed on the shoulder: 0,20 mm,

c)

Without edge and without shoulder: 0,30 mm,

d)

In the case of turrets for central fire cartridges, except those mentioned in Z 1: 0.25 mm;

In the case of handguns with smooth runs for central fire cartridges, in the case of

a)

automatic and semi-automatic flints: 0,35 mm,

b)

Tilts and other flints: 0,20 mm;

After the shelling, the gap between the barrel and the base bead must be ≤ 0.10 mm;

5.

In the case of handguns for edge fire cartridges, in which

a)

the kinetic energy is given instead of the gas pressure: 0,20 mm,

b)

the maximum gas pressure PCr max or PT max 1900 bar is: 0,20 mm,

c)

the maximum gas pressure PCr max or PT max 1900 to 2500 bar is: 0.15 mm,

d)

the maximum gas pressure PCr max or PT max > 2500 bar is: 0,10 mm;

6.

In the case of long arms with drawn runs for central fire cartridges, the closure distance according to Z 1 may be used in those cases where the minimum dimensions of the cartridge chamber and the maximum dimensions of the cartridge, which are in each case under consideration, in § 53 of the Patron review 2013, BGBl. II No. 446, cited ON rules, result in an overhang of the sleeve from the cartridge chamber in order to increase the size of the overhang.

(8) The wall thickness of the barrel and the soldering surface spacings shall have the highest minimum number specified in ÖNORM S 1205 for the respective caliber. However, if, on the run, there is either a marking in accordance with ÖNORM S 1205 or a designation corresponding to that according to Article 10 (1) Z 7, then the minimum wall thicknesses specified for the steel grade in question in ÖNORM S 1205, and Solder surface spacings are permitted.

(9) If a handgun, the dimensions of which are not yet to be considered in each case, in the 5. The main part of the technical standards referred to above is to be submitted for official testing, and the control of the dimensional accuracy must be carried out on the basis of the complete information supplied by the manufacturer.

Return before the final shelling

§ 13. (1) Handguns and the most highly stressed parts of handguns, which have one of the following defects in the checks in accordance with the provisions of § § 10 to 12, shall be returned to the person in accordance with paragraph 2:

1.

Absence of any of the information required in Article 10 (1) or Characters;

2.

Errors caused by improper processing of the material, if this impairs the function and durability, such as:

a)

Wrought old or Congestion,

b)

Cracks in the material, fibre, material separations, improper repair welding and soldering, in which the material strength has been impaired by the effect of heat,

c)

poor adaptation or Faulty soldering of the runs, running hooks or running rails and the slitter of the closure barrier,

d)

Scratches and other irregularities that have arisen during the processing of the inner surface of the barrel or the cartridge chamber and which have led to a lack of smoothness that can be seen with the naked eye, so that the recognition of by the shelling that it is made difficult,

e)

Dellen inside the barrel or the cartridge chamber,

f)

Build-up, especially in the transition areas from the cartridge chamber to the barrel and the choke, which lead to a reduction in the strength of the walls,

g)

Bulldoings of cartridge bearings,

h)

Burnt-out bugbows and ignition pin holes as well as defective firing pins and ignition pins;

3.

With the free eye visible in the leaves, visible depressions, folds or furrows;

4.

deficient closure design, in particular where no proper functioning is ensured during the clamping and locking of the closure;

5.

No guarantee of functional safety; this is only given:

a)

with ease of closure and safe, complete locking,

b)

if the loading and unloading mechanism is good for semi-automatic handguns,

c)

in the case of proper functioning of the fuse,

d)

if the handgun can be loaded without a shot being released automatically,

e)

if the firing pin or The guide pins move easily in their guides and they do not project out of the bumper after the tensioning,

f)

if the firing pin or Ignition pin bore and the firing pin and/or the firing pin. The tip of the firing pin is free of any ridge,

g)

in the case of good functioning of the take-off device, the triggering must not be too easy, except in the case of small arms for competitive purposes,

h)

in the case of a safe operation of the drum and in accordance with the axis of the barrel with the cartridge bearing axes of the drum during revolvers,

i)

in the case of cubic purchases, if the ignition pin is correspondingly screwed or secured in other appropriate manner;

6.

dimensions which do not comply with the provisions of § 12;

a)

Handguns with smooth runs, the bore diameter (B) of which exceeds the maximum permissible value, can be allowed for final bombardings, if the caliber and the corresponding bearing length as well as the caliber of the larger bore diameter or the bore diameter is mounted in millimeters on the barrel (e.g. B. Calibre 12/76-10 or 12/76-19, 3); the bore diameter shall not, however, be less than the diameter fixed for the relevant storage;

b)

Handguns whose profile deviates from normal run-to-train profiles (polygonal course) may be permitted for final bombardings if the cross-section of the barrel is the value of the value Q specified in the respective ON-rules referred to in § 58 not more than 0.7%, provided that no increase in gas pressure, compared to a run of minimum cross-section, occurs;

7.

corrosion; however, this may be permitted in used firearms; the shelling shall then be carried out with the threefold number of shots;

8.

the name of the calibre, which is misleading or which gives rise to confusion with other standardised calibers (§ 10 para. 2);

9.

Lack of edge formation on the drum in the case of revolvers with fringe fire;

10.

inadequate conversion within the meaning of Section 11 (3).

(2) The handguns and parts of handguns to be returned shall be provided with the signs in accordance with § 19 (2) and (4) (6) (6). The request shall be notified in writing to the person who has requested the reason for the return.

(3) Firearms and the most highly stressed parts of small arms which have not been admitted to the final decision in accordance with paragraph 1 may be re-submitted to the same office for testing if the incher proves that the noted deficiencies have been remedied. The examination shall then be carried out in accordance with the provisions of § § 9 to 15, subject to the result of the earlier trial.

(4) Maximum claimed parts of handguns shall be made unusable if they are no longer to be remedied, such as:

1.

if long-distance tube footplates have a defect within the meaning of Section 11 (5);

2.

Improper repair welding at the highest-level positions;

3.

§ 17. 2.

b)

the cartridge chamber of which has a diameter and a maximum length of 6 mm and in which only ammunition can be used, the ignition mixture of which simultaneously constitutes the propellant charge and in which the discharge energy of the projectile 7,5 Joule is not exceeds,

c)

which are intended for the one-off firing of ammunition;

2.

Schusapparatuses according to § 1 (2) (2) (2);

3.

Weapons of alarm, horror and irritant weapons (§ 1 para. 2 Z 3);

4.

Type of testing

§ 38. (1) The handguns referred to in § 37 (1), (2) and (4) and the most highly stressed parts of handguns, as well as those alarm, shockshot and irritant weapons, of which only cartridges with a diameter of P1 < 6 mm and with a length of L6 < 7 mm , if they are manufactured as standard, they must be subjected to a type test by testing an instance or several copies if the application for an individual test is not requested in accordance with § § 53 et seq.

(2) The non-standard handguns and parts of handguns, as referred to in paragraph 1, as well as those alarm, shockshot and irritant weapons from which cartridges with a diameter of P1 ≥ 6 mm and with a diameter of P1 ≥ 6 mm Length L6 ≥ 7 mm can be subjected to the individual test according to § § 53 et seq.

(3) In accordance with the provisions of paragraphs 1 and 2, firearms and parts of handguns shall be considered as standard equipment if the manufacturer has made arrangements for the production of significant quantities, in particular by: have drawn up plans and work programmes, and have provided the necessary lessons and equipment for this production.

(4) There is no obligation on the basis of a harmonised standard of the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN standard) for the use of equipment in accordance with § 37 Z 2, which is the subject of a Regulation or a Directive of the European Union and for which a harmonised standard of the European Committee for Standardisation (CEN standard) exists. § 39. Type Check

Scope of type examination

§ 40. (1) The type test shall include:

1.

the control of the marking in accordance with § 41;

2.

the control of functional safety and visual inspection in accordance with § 42;

3.

the control of the dimensions in accordance with § 43;

4.

the shelling according to § 45;

5.

the control after the shelling according to § 46.

(2) Before the start of the checks, a check shall be made as to whether a type test has already been carried out for the handgun submitted.

(3) When carrying out the checks referred to in paragraph 1, consideration shall be given to the specific characteristics of the various types of handguns and the most heavily used parts of small arms.

Control of labelling

§ 41. (1) In the course of the control of the marking, it must be checked whether the following information is clearly visible and permanently on one of the most highly stressed parts of the handgun, or On the entry level are appropriate:

1.

Name, company or registered trade mark, or -known short-mark manufacturer or importer;

2.

Model or Type designation;

3.

Serial number or the manufacturing number;

Control of functional safety and visual inspection

§ 42. (1) The control of functional safety shall include the verification of the reliable functioning of the loading and unloading mechanism, the closure device, the lock, the fuse and the firing and firing equipment and, in the case of scrubbing apparatus, also the examination of whether cartridges (§ 2 Z 1 of the 2013 cartridge examination) can be loaded with the same calibre.

(2) In the case of slaughter equipment, the control of the functional safety is carried out by either a charge without powder or the weakest charge intended for the apparatus being fired. It is necessary to verify that:

1.

can only be shot if the apparatus is completely closed or if the locking mechanism is provided at the level of the cartridge case;

2.

the apparatus shot for shelling at recharge before each operation;

3.

the apparatus can hold random shots into the open space without danger to the user, the element having to remain connected to the apparatus;

4.

The extension of the sleeves or a loading strip, which still contains cartridges, may be possible with the aid of a special tool.

(3) The control of functional safety shall be carried out in the case of weapons of alarm, chilling or irritating material, by:

1.

Ten use cases from each run in individual loaders;

2.

three use cases from each bearing of the drum in the case of handguns with drum and the type of turret;

§ 43. (1) To be checked:

4.

(2) Handguns and the most highly stressed parts of small arms which have one of the deficiencies referred to in paragraph 1 shall be returned to the person who has received them. The authorisation shall be refused.

Type-checking shelling

§ 45. (1) Handguns and maximum claimed parts of handguns not to be returned in accordance with Section 44 shall be subject to the fire.

(2) The shelling shall be carried out on finished handguns. Handguns, which still require burnishing (ready-to-use handguns), are considered as ready-made handguns. ten used cartridges from each run in individual loaders;

Three use cartridges from each of the bearings of the drum in handguns with drum and the turret type.

(5) If it is not possible for the shelling apparatus to be shelled according to paragraph 4 Z 3, then a method equivalent according to the state of the art is to be applied by reducing the minimum additional volume (Va) to a reduced test volume (VE). This shall result in an overpressure compared with the pressure of the use of the use of the cluster munitions provided for by the manufacturer for such equipment, when using the heaviest fixing element provided for in this information as well as with the strongest adjustment of the scouting apparatus.

9.

visible defects on the surface of one of the most highly stressed parts of the handgun;

10.

Malfunction of the functional mechanism (loading and unloading mechanism, closure, fuse, ignition, etc.) or ineffective fuse;

11.

Failure to pass any of the tests carried out pursuant to section 46 (2) to (4).

(2) The assessment of the deficiencies referred to in paragraph 1 shall be assessed in the light of the specific features of the various types of handguns and the most heavily stressed parts of small arms.

(3) In the case of handguns according to § 37 Z 1 lit. c are deformations and cracks caused by the firing on the surface, if they occur exclusively at those points at which they are intended for the function of the handgun, and if there is no danger to the user is to do so.

(4) In the case of bolt-setting devices with pistons and loading strips, the system unit/cartridge/loading tyre will not be approved if, after the system test (§ 45 (7)), it is determined that:

1.

the edge or the bottom of the sleeve has cracks, is pierced or fractured;

(5) In the case of slaughter equipment, it shall also be considered, after the bombardings, that:

the carcase element remains firmly connected to the apparatus;

2.

in the case of the presence of sleeves, which do not have any cracks, with the exception of small longitudinal cracks at the mouth of the tube;

3.

it is not possible to establish any gas escaping from the closure mechanism; this also applies to the slaughter apparatus with a propellant charge without a sleeve.

(6) If the type test (§ § 40 to 46) is not passed, then the person who has received the defect can apply for a new type check on another copy of the same type after rectification of the defects.

Approval of the Type

§ 48. (1) If the type test (§ § 40 to 46) is used for a specific type of hand-held firearms or of the most highly stressed parts of handguns, the person who has received the certificate must be given the right to obtain the certificate for this type (approval mark pursuant to paragraph 4) in connection with the registration number (paragraph 4). 3 Z 4). § 49. Control checks

§ 50. (1) Standard-produced and Type-approved (§ 48) Schusapparatuses and insertion runs shall be subject to a control examination at least every two years. In this case, the board must submit 5 copies of each approved type of an individual test (§ 53).

(2) Where there are reasonable grounds for suspecting that handguns placed on the market and the highest claimed parts of handguns for which there is an authorisation in accordance with § 48, in whole or in part, do not comply with the provisions of this Regulation, the to carry out an individual examination in accordance with § 53 on a copy of this type of handguns or parts of handguns, subject to the maximum claim. If a copy is not sufficient for the verification of the suspitiy, further copies of the individual test shall be submitted.

(3) The specimens required for the individual tests in the course of the inspection test shall be selected from the day-to-day production or from the manufacturer's warehouse. Specimens selected from the stock must be taken from the production of the last two years in which specimens of the relevant type have been produced.

(4) The inspection carried out in accordance with paragraph 1 shall be accompanied by a confirmation of the verification of the inspection.

(5) Where the inspection has shown that the specimens produced differ in their essential characteristics (section 48 (2)) from the tested model, or in whole or in part do not comply with the provisions of this Regulation, or if the substantiated suspicion has been confirmed in accordance with paragraph 2, the holder of the authorisation shall, if the deficiencies are recoverable, set a reasonable period of time to remedy the deficiencies.

(6) If the inspection has resulted in unrecoverable defects, or if recoverable defects have been identified within the time limit set (par. 5) is not remedied or a control test cannot be carried out, because the required copies (para. 1), the decision-making office has to withdraw the authorisation (§ 48) and have to dispose of the handguns and/or the handguns. the maximum claimed parts of handguns of the affected type must no longer be placed on the market.

(2) When carrying out the checks referred to in paragraph 1, consideration shall be given to the specific characteristics of the various types of handguns and the most heavily used parts of small arms.

(3) Hand-held firearms and parts of handguns subjected to the highest claim, which have one of the deficiencies mentioned in section 44 (1) of the checks referred to in paragraph 1 (1) (1) to (3), shall be provided with the characters in accordance with § 19 (2) and (4) (6). .

(4) The handguns and the most highly stressed parts of handguns submitted for the individual examination pursuant to § 37, which have not been admitted to the final decision in accordance with paragraph 3, can be submitted again for testing at the same fog, if the incher proves that the identified deficiencies have been remedied. The examination shall then be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Sections 40 to 46 of the previous trial.

Control of functional safety and visual inspection

§ 54. The control of functional safety shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of section 42. However, in the case of alarms, shocks and irritant weapons, Section 42 (3) shall apply by way of derogation that five use cartridges of each barrel or two cartridges of use from each bearing of the drum in the case of handguns with drum and from Revolvers are fired.

Single-test bombardess

§ 55. (1) The fire shall be executed in accordance with the provisions of § 45, but with the deviations that:

1.

in the case of a shuffling machine, two bombardings;

2.

in the case of alarm, rubbish and irritant weapons, two shouting cartridges from each barrel and/or a firing cartridge from each of the bearings of the drum are to be fired in handguns with drum as well as revolvers;

3.

in the case of slaughterhouse apparatus, § 45 (8) (2) (2) is not applicable.

(2) If the trial has not revealed any defects in accordance with the provisions of Sections 53 and 54 and Section 1, the badge shall be affixed in accordance with the provisions of § 19.

Other provisions

§ 56. (1) The provisions of § § 16 and 47 shall apply for the provision after the application for a single examination.

(2) For the new testing, the new testing obligation, the voluntary testing, the affixing of the badges, the inspection test, the official entries, the confirmation of the certificate and the list of certificates in the case of an individual examination the relevant provisions of the second main item shall apply.

Linguistic equality

§ 59. As far as natural persons are referred to in this Regulation only in male form, they shall refer to women and men in the same way. In applying the name to certain natural persons, the gender-specific form shall be used.

References

§ 60. References in this Regulation to other Regulations are to be understood as references to their version in force.

Entry into force and external force

§ 61. This Regulation shall enter into force at the end of the day of its presentation, at the same time as the 1999 Regulation on the application of the Decision, BGBl. II No 386/1999, except for force.
