The instrument of ratification, signed by the Federal President and countersigned by the Federal Chancellor, was deposited with the Secretary-General of the Council of Europe on 25 September 2013; the Convention, pursuant to Article 32 (4) of the Convention, applies to Austria 1. Jänner 2014 in force.

On the occasion of the deposit of the instrument of ratification, the central authority has been notified in accordance with Article 29 (1) of the Convention:
