13 regulation of the Federal Minister for agriculture and forestry, environment and water management, modifies the old vehicle regulation

On the basis of §§ 14, 23 and 36 of the waste management act of 2002 (AWG 2002), Federal Law Gazette I no. 102/2002, I no. 193/2013, is amended by the Federal Act Federal Law Gazette in agreement with the Federal Minister of economy, family and youth:

The old vehicle Ordinance, BGBl. II no 407/2002, as last amended by regulation BGBl. II No 53/2012, is amended as follows:

1. in paragraph 13, the word is "and" at the end of the No. 7; the Z 8 is the word "and" attached. After the Z 8 9 is inserted following Z: "9 the Directive 2013/28/EC of the Commission of 17 may 2013 for amending Annex II of Directive 2000/53/EC on end of life vehicles, OJ" No. L 135 of the 22 05 2013 p. 14ff,"2. The following paragraph 9 is added to article 14:

"(9) § 13 Z 7 to 9 and annex 2 as amended the regulation Federal Law Gazette II No. 13/2014 with the day following the proclamation into force."

(1) this exception is checked by the European Commission by 2015.

(2) removing, if in connection with entry 10a an average threshold of 60 grams per vehicle is exceeded. Electronic devices that are not installed by the manufacturer during the manufacturing, are excluded from the application of this clause.

(3) this exception is checked in 2014 by the European Commission.

(4) removal, if related to the entries of 8a an average threshold of 60 grams per vehicle is exceeded to 8j. Electronic devices that are not installed by the manufacturer during the manufacturing, are excluded from the application of this clause.

Notes:-a maximum concentration value up to 0,1% by weight lead, hexavalent chromium and mercury per homogeneous material and up to 0,01 weight percent cadmium per homogeneous material will be tolerated.

-Reuse of automotive parts, which were already before the end of the period of validity of an exception in transport, is fully allowed because it doesn't fall under article 4, paragraph 1.

-Spare parts installed after July 1, 2003, in transport, used for vehicles before the 1 July 2003 which are ausgenommen(*) by the provisions of § 4 para 1.

(*) This clause does not apply carbon brushes for electric motors and brake linings for weights,."
