According to the announcement by the Government of the Swiss Confederation, on 5 February 2014, Iraq had its instrument of accession to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora, as amended in Bonn on 22 February 2014. June 1979 and in Gabarone on 30 April 1983 (BGBl. No. 188/1982 in the version BGBl. III No 295/2013, last proclamation of the BGBl area. III No 300/2013).

According to a further communication, the UK has extended the scope of the Convention to Anguilla with effect from 27 February 2014.
