125. Regulation of the Federal Minister for Health on the application of animal vaccines not authorised in Austria against notifiable animal diseases or animal diseases subject to veterinary regulations (Animal vaccine application regulation 2014)

On the basis of Section 12 (1) of the Animal Health Act (TSG), RGBl. No 177/1909, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 80/2013, shall be arranged:

§ 1. (1) Until the end of 31 May 2015, the application of the following animal vaccines which are not authorised in Austria shall be authorised:

1.

Chevivac-S of the company Chevita GmbH (vaccine against Salmonella typhimurium at the pigeon)-approved in Germany;

2.

Chevivac-P12 from Chevita GmbH (vaccine for the active immunisation of pigeons against paramyxovirus-1 infections)-approved in Germany;

3.

Lasovak PLUS of the company IDT Biologika GmbH (Paramyxovirose (PMV-1) -vaccine for pigeons)-approved in Germany;

4.

Nobilis Ma5 + Clone 30 of Intervet Deutschland GmbH (vaccine for the active immunisation of chickens against infectious bronchitis and Newcastle disease)-approved in Germany;

5.

Heptavac P plus the company Intervet Deutschland GmbH (Rauschbrand-Pasteurellen-Combination vaccine for sheep)-approved in Germany;

6.

Anthrax Spore Vaccine of the company Onderstepoort Biological Products Ltd. -approved in South Africa or in Canada, for the acceptance of officially disposed protective vaccinations against anthrax.

(2) Until the end of 31 May 2015, the use of unauthorised immunological veterinary medicinal products for the diagnosis of tuberculosis (diagnostic vaccination) shall be permitted if it is administered in a Member State of the European Union, in Switzerland or in Switzerland. Norway for the diagnosis of tuberculosis is authorised for the appropriate animal species.

§ 2. The importation and the placing of the veterinary medicinal products referred to in § 1 is in accordance with the Pharmacopoitic Act 2010, BGBl. I n ° 79, as last amended by the Federal Law BGBl. I No 162/2013. Vaccinations with vaccines according to § 1 (1) (1) (1) (1) to (5) shall be reported by the veterinarian in accordance with § 12 (2) and (3) TSG. Vaccination with vaccines pursuant to § 1 (1) (1) (6) and tuberculosis (tuberculosis) with veterinary medicinal products in accordance with § 1 (2) may only be carried out on an official order.

§ 3. This Regulation shall enter into force on 1 June 2014. The Animal Impfstoff Regulation 2013, BGBl. II No 156, shall expire on 31 May 2014.
