139. Regulation of the Federal Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology on a driving ban for certain vehicles in the Karawankentunnel 2014 (driving ban Karawankentunnel 2014)

Pursuant to Section 43 (1) of the StVO 1960:

§ 1. On both directional lanes of the A 11 Karawanken motorway in the range of km 15,400 to km 21,250 (Karawankentunnel) is on all Saturdays from 28.6.2014 to 13.9.2014, each in the time from 8 am to 2 pm, driving with

vehicles with a maximum permissible gross laden weight of more than 7.5 tonnes, and

2.

Heavy goods vehicles with trailers if the sum of the maximum authorised weights of both vehicles is more than 7.5 tonnes,

forbidden.

§ 2. (1) The prohibition referred to in § 1 shall not apply to journeys exclusively for the carriage of goods from or to airports (§ 64 of the German Aviation Act) or military airports, which pursuant to § 62 (3) of the Aviation Act for the purpose of civil aviation , shall be used, or used exclusively within the framework of combined transport (§ 2 para. 1 Z 40 KFG 1967) within a circle with a radius of 65 km from the loading or unloading stations established by the Regulation pursuant to § 42 para. 2b StVO 1960 or loading and unloading ports.

(2) The prohibition in § 1 shall not apply to journeys made exclusively for the carriage of slaughterhouses or stechs, mailings and periodic printing units or the supply of beverages in excursion areas. Repairs to refrigeration equipment, towing service, breakdown assistance, use in major emergencies, use of road-holder vehicles for the maintenance of road transport, use of vehicles of the public security service, the disposal of waste or the use of vehicles of a Regular service for the maintenance of regular regular scheduled services, journeys with vehicles according to the type of Schaustellerart (§ 2 para. 1 Z 42 KFG 1967) as well as unstoppable journeys with trucks of the Federal Army and with self-driving vehicles Agricultural machinery.
