261. Regulation of the Federal Minister for labour, Social Affairs and consumer protection for the temporary employment of foreigners in the winter tourism

Due to section 5, paragraph 2 No. 1 of the aliens Employment Act - aliens, BGBl. No. 218/1975, as last amended by Federal Law Gazette I no. 72/2013, is prescribed:

§ 1. For the winter tourism industry, a quota is set at a height of 1 190 for the temporary employment of foreign workers and on the provinces, divided as follows:

              Burgenland:...               5

              Carinthia:...               45, 20 for glacier regions

              Lower Austria:...               5 for amusement enterprises

              Upper Austria:...               40, including 10 for entertainment companies

              Salzburg:...              410, 90 for glacier regions

              Styria:...              160, 10 for entertainment companies

              Tyrol:...              290, of which 110 for glacier regions

              Vorarlberg:...              210

              Wien: ……………………………………               25 for Showmen farms

Section 2 (1) within the quotas employment permits may be granted from 17 November 2014, duration of validity may not exceed 25 weeks and do not end after May 15, 2015. Employment permits may be granted for operations in the glacier region and its catchment area, as well as for amusement companies from entry into force of this regulation.

(2) foreigners, which are subject to the transitional provisions for the EU – free movement of workers (Article 32a aliens), asylum seekers are preferable in the granting of employment permits.

§ 3. This Regulation shall enter upon the expiry of the 30 April 2015 override.
